The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, July 28 reveals Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will not be returning home from Nice.
Also coming up, after committing another murder, Carter (Vincent Stalba) will kill himself. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will kiss Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). And Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will apologize to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will tell Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) she agrees to the deal. But she’s not signing anything until she sees her son. So, Amanda will take them to the storage room, which will be empty. Nikki and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will be horrified to see a large pool of blood on the floor.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Thanks Sharon For Everything She Did
“If my son is injured or if he is even hungry, or thirsty, there will be hell to pay,” Nikki will tell Amanda. Suddenly, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will appear. Nikki will see the blood and Billy will tell them it’s Nick’s. She and Lauren will take off and Billy will put Amanda on blast for backing Cane’s actions.

In the maze, Cane will tell Carter he can’t protect him if he doesn’t tell him what happened. “Did you kill Damian?” But they’ll be interrupted by the goon. “The suspect and his companion have escaped,” he’ll tell Cane.
He’ll add he was knocked out and the suspect was injured. So, Cane will tell him to find Nick. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who is eavesdropping behind a hedge, will tell Chance to take care of it. He needs to go find Nick.
Meanwhile, Sharon, Billy and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will get Nick to the main train car. Billy will say he’s going to look for Nikki, so they can get him out of there. Sally will tell Nick and Sharon she’s going to get changed and hike down the mountain.
Then Victor will walk in and ask what happened. Sharon will say he broke them out of house arrest. “Ashby will pay for this, I promise you.” Nikki and Lauren will arrive and Sally will come back and say the tracks are cleared. Then their cell phones will start pinging.
Eventually, everyone will prepare to get out of there, leaving Nick and Sharon alone. He’ll thank her for helping him. Sharon will say he’s always there for her. “Come closer,” he’ll say. Then he’ll kiss her.
Back to Cane, who will ask Carter again if he killed Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers). A tearful Carter will say Damian interfered in his reunion with Cane’s wife. “He needed to be removed from the equation.” So, he’ll ask Cane to fix this and get him away from there.
Then Chance will appear. “It looks like you put the wrong person under house arrest,” he’ll comment. Cane will ask if he heard enough. “For now,” Chance will say. Carter will turn to Cane. “What about protecting me?” he’ll ask. Carter will flash back to drugging the bourbon and throwing the dagger. Lily will appear and Carter will pull out a gun and grab her and take her hostage.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lily Tells Cane She Wants To Go Home
Cane and Chance will follow them but first, Carter will run into Billy, who will see Cane’s assistant holding a gun on Lily. “What the hell?” Billy will say. “Stay back!” Carter will shout and Billy will tell him to calm down.

“He killed Damian,” a terrified Lily will say. Cane will appear and ask Carter to trade him for Lily. Billy will back off and Cane will ask Carter to aim the gun at him and let Lily go. So he will.
Meanwhile, Chance will watch and listen from behind a hedge. “Everything I did was to thank you for freeing me from the life I led and now I’ll free you from yours,” Carter will say, getting ready to pull the trigger. “Cane!” Lily will scream.
But then Chance will rush out and try to grab the gun. It’ll go off and Chance will stumble, holding his stomach, which is covered in blood. He’ll collapse into Cane and Carter will take off. Lily will tell Chance he’s going to be okay but he’ll say it’s over.
Billy will take Chance’s pulse and say he’s dead. Then a gunshot will ring out and they’ll find Carter dead by his own hands. Cane will walk over to Lily and ask if she’s okay. “I just wanna go home,” she’ll reply. But she’ll also apologize, for accusing him of killing Damian.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will appear and Billy will tell them Chance is dead. “This is on you!” Jack will tell Cane. “It’s over Jack, let everyone know they can go home shortly,” he’ll reply. But Jack will point out not everyone is going home. Damian and Chance won’t be. “My God, this is going to destroy Nina and Jill.”
Finally, Billy will approach Cane and ask if he’s still coming back to Genoa City. He’ll say he is, and he’d like to fund Abbott Communications. Then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will arrive. So, Billy will ask if she’d be interested in helping him take back Chancellor.
