The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, July 20 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be stunned by Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) offer.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) his offer still stands. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) doesn’t trust Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) motives.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will say he wants to be there when Nikki gets the bandages off. “I just wonder, if I weren’t facing blindness and I went to see Jack, would you even be speaking to me?” she’ll ask. Victor will ask why she’s bringing it up and Nikki will say because it’s the elephant in the room.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Doesn’t Want Nick Regretting Something
“I can’t stand the guy, he nearly cost you your life,” Victor will reply. Nikki will say Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) saved her life. “Does your offer to go with me still stand?” And Victor will say of course he wants to. Nikki will tell him she’s heading to bed. “Victor, despite everything, I love you,” she’ll say. “I always will.”
Nick will tell Matt he’s not buying his get out of town promise. But he’ll say they need to stop blaming him for the terrible things he’s done. “You will only ever see this monster you think I am!” Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) will accuse him of harassing Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun).
But he’ll say he came there to have a heart to heart with his wife. “The marriage was annulled,” Noah will remind him. Matt will say it’s another reason for him to leave town. Nick will say if he’s truly leaving, he needs to know what it is he’s after.
Matt will ask what they want from him. “Just leave and don’t come back,” Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will reply. “That’d be enough for me, and I’ll help you pack.” Eventually, Matt will walk out and Sienna will say she thinks he was being sincere.
She and Noah will head into the back room and Sharon will ask Nick what he’s planning to do. “You don’t believe he’s going to stay gone any more than I do,” he’ll reply. Sharon will say she doesn’t want him doing something he’ll regret.
As for Matt, he’ll end up at the ranch and tell Victor he needs to leave town. “No one’s ever gonna believe that I’ve changed,” he’ll add. “I need to get out of Genoa City.” But Victor will say he decides. “If you’re pulling a con job on me, I’ll see to it you go to prison, or worse.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor’s Family Wants Matt Gone
Matt will say Victor’s whole family once him gone. “My family is not thinking rationally,” he’ll reply. But Matt will say everywhere he goes, all he encounters is hatred and rage. Then Nick will show up, after Matt leaves, and Victor will ask if Matt’s fate was in his hands, what he would do.
At Society, Sally will look at some color palettes and Adam will approach. He’ll ask if they’re colors for the baby nursery. “I came here to talk to you about Victor,” Adam will add. She’ll ask if he told him about the offer to sell him Newman Media.
Adam will say he did and he has one question. “Why the hell would you do that?” But Sally will say they’re outgunned and outmatched. Adam will say he understands. However, there’s no way he’ll go for that. “I guess I’m going to war then,” Sally will reply.
Finally, Adam will say he might have an idea on how to avoid the fight with Victor altogether. “Just because my father isn’t willing to pay for Newman Media, doesn’t mean someone else will,” he’ll add. “Me.” However, Sally won’t know if she can trust him but Adam will say what he’s offering her is on the level.
She’ll ask why he’d alienate his father. Adam will tell her Victor has alienated him. But he’ll also tell Victor he managed to snatch Newman Media away from her. Sally will say she still feels like somehow she’d owe him, so she’ll pass.
“Sunset blush,” Adam will reply, the color she wanted to paint Ava’s room. “You could never owe me Sally, not after Ava,” he’ll tell her. “Even if we make this deal, I will always owe you.” Sally will ask if he’s prepared for the fallout if Victor finds out. But will she decide to take Adam up on his generous offer?
