The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 28 reveals Ian Ward (Ray Wise) will find himself on the hot seat.
Also coming up, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will vent to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about her missing wife and daughter. Plus, thanks to Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) advice, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will reach out to his mom.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will open up to Sally about everything that went down at Chancellor. He’ll admit it was never really his company. “I saw it as a means to an end, to prove to the rest of the world that I could run one of the biggest companies on the planet.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Mariah Knows Why He’s In Their Lives
Sally will ask Billy if he’s reached out to his mom yet and he’ll say no. So, she’ll ask if he’s thought about what he wants to do now. He’ll say he enjoyed building Chance Comm and he liked doing the podcast. “You know, I have to say, I’m finding this new Billy Abbott very sexy,” Sally will tell him.
The couple will make love and afterwards, Billy will head into the living room to grab the champagne. But first, he’ll send Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) a text. “We need to talk. There’s a lot I have to say.”
At the cottage, Mariah will flip out. Her daughter and wife are missing. Nick will show up and ask about the fight she had with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). He’ll also ask if there was any sign of a struggle. “Maybe Tessa took Aria and left?” Sharon will say. But Mariah will say Tessa would never let her worry with this, not after everything they’ve been through lately.
Nick will say Ian probably has them hidden away somewhere, as leverage. “None of this is making me feel any better!” Mariah will tell him. So, Sharon will tell her daughter she needs to stay strong, for her wife and daughter.
After Sharon heads upstairs, Mariah will remember how many times she had the chance to end Ian’s life. “If I get the opportunity again, I swear I’m not going to let his pass.” When her mom comes back down, she’ll say Tessa will protect Aria. But Mariah will tell her Ian’s in their lives because of her. “So, I want Ian obliterated. I want him wiped from the face of this earth.”
Meanwhile, Ian will return to the motel holding a rose, as the bathroom door opens behind him. “I know we’ve had our differences, sweetheart, but I’d like to kiss and make up,” he’ll say. Then Ian will turn around and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be standing there. “You shouldn’t have,” he’ll reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Tells Ian He’s Sick Of These Lies
Michael will tell Ian that Mr. Newman requires his presence. But Ian will say it’s late and he’ll decline, saying he’s waiting for his friend to return. “I regret to inform you that Jordan took her own life this evening,” Michael will reply.
Of course, Ian will pretend he doesn’t know who Michael is talking about. Then he’ll open the motel room door and find Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) security guy standing there. Ian will end up at the ranch and Victor will walk into the living room. He’ll ask what The Mustache wants from him this time.
“I would love to hear your last confession,” Victor will reply. Ian will say his conscience is clear. So, Victor will ask him to start with the murder of Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom). Ian will ask why he’d want him to accept responsibility for a murder Sharon committed.
“You either admit to the murder of Heather Stevens, or you will share her fate and meet your maker.” Victor will point out that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) killed herself and perhaps he will too. Michael will hand Ian a typed confession, all he needs to do is sign it. “Now that Sharon is safely home, there’s no reason for you to live,” Victor will tell him.
“Actually, that’s not true,” Nick will say, as he walks in the front door. He’ll shout that Ian better tell him where he’s holding Tessa and Aria. But he’ll deny taking Tessa and her daughter. “I am sick of all these lies!” Nick will shout at the villain. “You tell me right now – where do you have Tessa and Aria?!”
Finally, Victor will nod to his security guy, who will pick Ian up by the lapels. The villain will scream and pretend he’s in pain, but he’ll grab a gun from the henchman’s inside pocket. “Well, well, well, it looks like I’m about to have something to confess to,” Ian will say as he points the gun at them.
