The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 11 reveals Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will thinks she has the answer to Aristotle Dumas’s identity.
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will find himself trying to appease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) yet again. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will dole out some advice. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will try to reign in Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will ask Sally if she’s all in on the trip to France. Sally will say she is. Billy thinks it should be entertaining. He’s expecting it’s going to be an ambush on Victor. “Dumas wants Chancellor, he’s assembling an army,” he’ll tell her.

Sally will say if he’s right, maybe it’s not safe to go. “I’m not super comfortable about any of this.” But Billy will say they can just sit back and enjoy it. “Please admit this could get vicious,” she’ll tell him. “Nothing bad is going to happen in Nice,” he’ll reply.
At Society, Nikki will question Chelsea about Newman Media. “If things aren’t going well with your new position you can tell me.” Chelsea will admit it hasn’t been easy. Nikki will ask what the problem is. “The problem is Victor,” Chelsea will reply. Nikki will ask what her husband is doing.
Chelsea will say he’s pushing an agenda to attack Billy. “Adam has a problem with that?” a surprised Nikki will ask. “Why the change?” Then she’ll figure out it’s because Chelsea doesn’t want him to. So, she’ll ask Nikki how to get Victor to back down. “The issue isn’t how to handle Victor, it’s your handling of Adam,” she’ll reply.
Chelsea will say Adam has agreed not to fling any mud in Billy’s direction and Nikki will ask if Adam’s going to defy Victor. Chelsea will tell her Adam’s trying to say Dumas should be more of a target than Billy. “It’s not a battle that you can win, Victoria can tell you that,” Nikki will advise.
But Chelsea will say Adam’s instinct is to comply when Victor makes a demand. “I need to come up with a way to sway Victor.” Nikki will say many have tried and have rued the day. But she’ll suggest she make him an offer to back off.
Meanwhile, Adam will argue with someone on the phone, telling them not to release the hit piece on Billy. Then he’ll have separate flashbacks of his conversations with Victor and Chelsea. Not surprisingly, Victor will arrive. He’ll say he liked the pieces Adam published, praising Nikki at the helm of Chancellor Industries.

“But I’ve not seen any critical pieces of Billy Abbott’s leadership of Chancellor, before Nikki took over,” he’ll add. Adam will say he has a strategy in play. “We don’t want the praise of Nikki to look like a trojan horse to trash Billy. Those things should not be connected.” He’ll add that they crush Billy in a second wave of articles.
Talk will turn to Dumas and Victor will say he, Nikki, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are heading to France tomorrow. Adam will say it’s a heck of a move, getting many Genoa City movers out of the country.
“Billy Abbott is the only one who has a connection to Dumas and I intend to take advantage of it,” Victor will say. “I won’t treat Dumas as an enemy, I’ll make him an ally. And together, bring down Jack Abbott.”
Chelsea will return to Newman Media and she’ll overhear Victor talking about Dumas and telling Adam to launch the attack against Billy tomorrow. So, when Victor leaves Adam’s office, she’ll ask to meet with him. He’ll say he’s on his way out but he’ll meet with her in an hour.
Finally, Adam will ask Chelsea why she’s meeting with his father. She’ll say she’s going to offer him a deal to leave Billy alone. “Why in the hell would you take this chance, for Billy, of all people?” Adam will ask her. “Are you not over your ex?”
Chelsea will say of course she is, but she has empathy for him. So, she’s going to offer his father a deal. Adam will ask what information she could possibly have that Victor doesn’t have. “I have figured out who Aristotle Dumas really is,” she’ll reply.
