The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) scoop reveals Matthew Atkinson may be coming back to the sudser as Thomas Forrester.
On the actor’s Instagram account, he posted a video of himself playing cornhole outside the new B&B studio. He misses the first shot he takes but lands the second. Atkinson titled the video: “Second time’s a charm.”
As viewers know, Thomas was engaged to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) when the couple left, with Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) in tow, for Paris. Atkinson’s last appearance was in July 2024 and a few months later his picture was removed from the sudsers opening credits.

Of course, his post has caused much speculation online that he’ll soon be back at B&B. “Please let this mean you’re coming back! We need you!” a fan replied to the actor’s post.
“Are you coming back?” another viewer asked. “I miss seeing Thomas on my screen and stop watching the show.” Others said the show just wasn’t the same without him.
Atkinson’s return could set the stage for some angst for Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). She’s currently engaged to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint Victor). But Hope has also reconnected with her ex-husband Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

Although she told Thomas she loved him, Hope rejected him when he proposed to her, twice. And she was heartbroken when Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) convinced him to leave LA.
