The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 24 reveals Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will lash out at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to keep a secret from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Plus, Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) won’t get the reaction she was expecting from Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). And Devon Winters (Bryton James) will be suspicious.
Y&R spoilers tease Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will ask Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) what happens now. “What do you want to happen?” she’ll reply. He’ll say he loved being with her again, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) deserves better. “I’m having a hard time respecting myself right now.” Heather will say she won’t push but she feels as close to him as she ever did.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jordan Warns Claire About The Newman’s
Meanwhile, it looks like Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is slated to become the next character to drop their current career and become involved in another boring business storyline. She’ll show up at Chancellor Winters to talk to Devon about giving her a seat on the board. He’ll say he’s considered it and he’ll talk to Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Then they’ll head to Society and spot Daniel and Heather there and Devon will narrow his eyes as he watches them.
At the Abbott estate, Nikki will walk in with Jack. “I had one drink, okay maybe two,” she’ll admit. “But I called you before it got out of hand.” She’ll ask Jack to take her to a meeting. But Jack he’ll say they need to call Victor first. Of course, Nikki will ask him not to. “Victor is just constantly checking me, it’s driving me crazy,” she’ll say. “It makes me feel claustrophobic and ashamed.”
Jack will tell her she needs a new sponsor, who is on solid ground and Victor wouldn’t begrudge that. “But he wouldn’t want it to be you, you and I both know that.” However, she’ll wear him down and he’ll agree to play it her way, for now. Then she’ll tell him about her ordeal in Oregon. And Jack will tell Nikki he’ll help her every step of the way. She’ll explain that after she visited Claire, images of her kidnapping flashed into her head, which is why she wanted a drink.
Speaking of Claire, an orderly will tell her she’s got a call from her mother. But it won’t be Victoria, it’ll be Aunt Jordan. “There’s something you need to understand,” she’ll say. “The Newman’s, they’re not good for you, they’re going to take you into their world and annihilate you.” But Claire will tell her aunt she ruined her life and the Newman’s care about her. “I want you dead,” she’ll say to Jordan. “Do you hear me. Dead.” But after she hangs up, Claire will curl up into a ball on her bed, looking miserable.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Has Been In Claire’s Shoes
At Newman, Adam will overhear a conversation between Victor and Victoria, about if and when they accept Claire into their family. So, he’ll walk into the CEO office and ask what that means. “Butt out,” Victoria will reply. “You don’t know all the facts about my daughter, so you don’t have the right to comment or even express your opinion.” But Adam will ask if it’s a bad thing that he’s trying to protect the family.
“All I know is what she tried to do to dad and the rest of the family back in Oregon,” he’ll add. Then Adam will ask Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) if he’s willing to welcome a mentally ill felon into the family with open arms. “That’s enough,” Victoria will tell Adam. He’ll turn to Victor, who will say he trusts Victoria’s instincts. However, Adam will ask what happens if they accept Claire and then she asks them to accept Jordan into their lives as well.
Victoria will tell Adam they took Claire to see Jordan and she’s done with her. “But she would say anything to get her to forgive you Victoria, trust me, I know,” he’ll reply. “I’ve been in Claire’s shoes, with all of you.” So, he’ll suggest they approach it with less compassion and a massive amount of caution. “Claire’s my daughter, we’re all her family,” Victoria will say. “You’re worried that we’re going to love her more than we love you.” However, Adam will say any love would be more love than he gets from her.
Finally, Adam will warn it’s probably not the last they’ve heard from Claire’s aunt. But Victoria will say Jordan’s going to die in prison. “You can’t guarantee that and if she gets out, we’ll be her first stop,” Adam will reply.
