The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 21 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be stunned by Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) demand.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will caution Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Plus, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) wants to leave town. And Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will feel guilty.
Y&R spoilers tease Faith and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will arrive at Crimson Lights. On the patio, Faith will flash back to her kidnapping and Sharon will ask if she’s all right. Then Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will arrive, followed shortly afterwards by Adam. He’ll angrily ask Chance where he was when Faith and Sharon needed him. But Sharon and Faith will jump to his defense.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Faith Decides To Leave Genoa City
Faith will tell Adam he and Chance have something in common. They both risked their lives to save her. When Sharon and Adam walk back inside, he’ll remind her of what he did to her baby and he’ll imply that he’s finally receiving his karma. Sharon will try to talk him down, but to no avail. Then Nick will show up and Faith will tell her parents that everywhere she goes, what happened hits her all over again. So, she wants to leave Genoa City and go back to Ann Arbor. But even though they’ll miss her, Sharon and Nick will agree to let her go.
Nick will head to the hospital and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will tell him Adam showed up in her room, and she pretended to be asleep. “It just made me sick, knowing he was in my room,” she’ll say. “How dare he think that anything has changed. Adam let our baby die and he wants forgiveness.” However, Nick will remind her Adam lost his child too. “He was thrust into an impossible situation, Sally.
“His first instinct was that he loves you and will always put you first.” Then Nick’s phone will ring. It’s Victoria, asking if he can swing by the office. Before he leaves, Nick will tell Sally that she’ll heal faster if she lets go of her hatred for Adam. He’ll also ask her to consider moving in with him after she’s released. Then Adam will return and Sally will pretend to sleep. “All I wanted was to protect you and the baby,” he’ll tell her. “And I’ll never forgive myself for breaking your heart.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki Gives Nate Some Advice
Meanwhile, Victoria will tell her mother she’s going to talk to Nick about a leave of absence. “Are you still pushing for that, even now?” Nikki will ask. “This isn’t just about Cameron Kirsten, Sally lost the baby.” But Victoria will say Nick’s going to need time to recover. “If he needs a vacation, by all means,” Nikki will say. “But it should be his choice.” Then Nate will poke his head in the door. After Nikki leaves, he’ll ask Victoria if she’s sure this is the move she wants to make. And she’ll say it is.
Nate will head to Society and spot Nikki. When she mentions the social media platform he set up at Newman Media, Nate will tell her Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will be heading that up moving forward. Nikki will be surprised that he’s already shifting his focus to Newman Enterprises. But Nate will say he’s only respecting Victoria’s wishes. “I would advise you to proceed very carefully,” Nikki will reply.
Finally, Nick will arrive at Newman and Victoria will tell him Sally’s going to really need his support. “So now you’re a fan of my relationship with Sally?” he’ll ask. “What’s going on?” Victoria will say he needs to take a leave of absence from Newman. After all he’s been through, he’s not going to be able to make a sound business decision. So, it’s important he takes the time. “I don’t want to,” he’ll reply. But Victoria will tell him she’s not asking him. “The decision has already been made. I need you to step away from your role as COO.”
