The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, July 12 reveals Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will admit why he wants Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to run Newman Media.
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will ask Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) why she’s acting guilty. Plus, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will sleep together. And Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will offer Sally a permanent position.
Y&R spoilers tease Nate will see Audra busily working. She’ll ask if he’s going to stand there and watch her work. Nate will ask her to go for a walk and they’ll end up at the park. He’ll give her some Oolong tea and he’ll talk about switching from coffee to tea.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Audra And Nate Sleep Together For Fun
Audra will talk about her job and she’ll say she’s the one who wears makeup. “Glissade needs to be not about being beautiful for a man but about women being beautiful about themselves.” They’ll watch the sunset then head to her hotel room and have sex. Audra will tell him it doesn’t mean anything, it’s just for fun.
Meanwhile, Adam and Chelsea will be pumped, after their conversation with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). “He’s going to beat this Chelsea, I know he is,” Adam will say. They’ll embrace and then quickly break apart. Adam will tell Chelsea they’ve been there for each other because it’s what Connor needed.
There’ll be a knock on the door. It’s Victor, asking to speak with Adam. They’ll tell him they just got off a call with Connor and he’s doing a lot better. “You wanna know if I’m going to take you up on your offer to take on Newman Media,” Adam will say, after Chelsea leaves.
He’ll say he’s intrigued but he wants to know who they’re fighting. So, Victor will tell Adam he acquired Glissade, but he’s keeping the financing anonymous. Adam will laugh and say he wishes he’d seen Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) face. But Victor will admit Tucker wasn’t the target.
He’ll say he wants Newman Media to create a huge buzz about Glissade and at the same time go after the competition. And Adam will wonder what it is Victor’s not telling him. “Why do you need me?” he’ll ask. “You still haven’t specified your enemy.”
Victor will remind Adam Jabot is one of the largest companies in the sector. And Adam will finally get that he’s going after Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). But he’ll say he likes Jack. “You have never hesitated to go in for the kill,” Victor will reply. “Even if it’s someone you like.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Sally Tells Chelsea She Owes Her
He’ll tell his son he wants him to cause major damage to Jabot. So, Adam will wonder why he wants to hurt Jack. “I don’t give a damn about what the hell happens to Jack Abbott,” Victor will reply. “I’m handing the company to you – what are you gonna do with it?” Then Victor will ask him if he’ll take it on. But Adam will say he’ll let him know in the morning.
At Society, Sally will show Summer some designs on her tablet. “Honestly, it’s really great,” Summer will say. And she’ll admit she’s surprised how well their collaboration has worked out. “How would you feel about leading a team of your own?” Summer will ask.
Then Chelsea will show up and Summer will say she wanted to discuss a permanent position for Sally. A shocked Chelsea will ask if Summer is firing her. But Summer will say no, she’s thinking of expanding the brand and coming up with a new line, targeting a younger audience and she wants Sally to run it. Chelsea will say she thinks it’s a great idea.
Finally, Summer will get a text from her realtor and leave. Chelsea will immediately get up, but Sally will ask her to stay, because she wants to talk about Adam. She’ll ask how she can support them both without feeling threatened, adding she owes her. “No Sally, you really don’t,” Chelsea will reply.
“It almost seems like you’re guilty,” Sally will tell her and Chelsea will flash back to having sex with Adam. “You’re tearing up,” Sally will say. “Can you please just tell me what it is?” But Chelsea will say everything that’s happened has her on an emotional rollercoaster. “I feel like I don’t have control over any aspect of my life, what I say, what I do.”
Sally will admit she’s afraid of losing Adam over this. “He’s just so broken up over Connor, sometimes I just wonder if there’s even a piece left for me.” She’ll say when she and Adam lost their baby, it bonded them. “Just know Adam loves you and you have to stand by him,” Chelsea will say and take off, as fast as she can.
