The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, December 28 reveals Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will surprise Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will make her move on Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Plus, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will be stunned by Tucker’s denial. And Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) and Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will renew their wedding vows.
Y&R spoilers tease Ashley will approach Phyllis and Tucker. “Maybe if we ignore her she’ll go away,” Tucker will tell Phyllis. “It’s hard to stay in a town where everyone else can’t stand you.” So, Ashley will ask Phyllis if she minds if she talk to Tucker alone. After Phyllis leaves, she’ll tell him he’s brought all this on himself and now he wants to run away. Then she’ll ask him if his son and grandson mean nothing.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Heather Makes Her Move On Daniel
“Being a father and a grandfather means everything to me,” he’ll reply angrily. He’ll say she destroyed everything that mattered to him. Ashley will ask if their conversation is going to turn into Paris all over again. She’ll remind him of smashing the wine glass and throwing a chair in the restaurant. But Tucker will ask her what she’s talking about.
He’ll admit he made a scene and may have tipped over a wine glass and pushed aside a chair when he left. “You are not acknowledging anything that you did,” Ashley will say. “Are you trying to drag my name further through the mud?” he’ll ask and storm out.
Meanwhile, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will tell Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) he’s incredibly happy to spend New Year’s Eve with her. Christine will apologize for asking if a part of him wanted to be with Phyllis. “I’m in a really good place and I have you to thank for that.” Reconnecting with him was something she never expected. Danny will say they’ve come a long way. “I can’t wait to see what the future holds.”
They’ll start making out and Daniel will walk in. Awkwardness will ensue. Then Heather and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will arrive, as Danny and Christine depart. They’ll all watch a movie together. By the end of it, Lucy and Daniel will be asleep and Heather will cuddle up beside him. A short while later, Lucy will wake up, smile, and take a photo of them. Then Daniel will wake up and Heather will kiss him.
At the GCAC, Michael and Lauren will spot Phyllis and invite her to sit with them. They’ll ask her what happened with Danny. “It’s not me you should be worried about, it’s Danny,” she’ll reply, adding she doesn’t understand why he can’t see that Christine isn’t right for him. “She has jumped from one not even done marriage, to an ex.”

But Lauren will ask why she’s pursuing this. And Phyllis will say the only thing she’s pursuing is a healthy relationship with her son’s father. Then Danny and Christine will walk in. When they see Phyllis, he’ll suggest they go somewhere else. “Not a chance,” Christine will reply. They’ll walk over and say happy new year to Phyllis, Michael and Lauren, who will say they’re renewing their vows at the stroke of midnight.
Lauren will invite Phyllis to come but she’ll say she has a date. “With who?” Lauren will ask. So, Phyllis will spot Tucker and say with him. She’ll wave him over he’ll go along with her ploy, even planting a smooch on her. After Christine and Danny grab a table, Lauren and Michael will ask if she set that up to make Danny jealous and they’ll tell her she better show up at their renewal. Phyllis will move to the bar and text Tucker, thanking him for playing along. He’ll reply, asking if she still wants to have a drink.
Finally, Gloria Bardwell (Judith Chapman), Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will help decorate Society for Michael and Lauren’s vow renewal. Michael and Lauren will arrive and Gloria will say she’s so happy for them. She’ll embrace Lauren. “Michael is so lucky to have you,” she’ll add. Then Lauren and Michael will renew their vows and Phyllis will show up to witness it.
