The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, May 20 reveals Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will invite Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) up to her room for a nightcap.
Also coming up, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will pull a prank on Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Plus, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) will taunt Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will turn down Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) job offer.
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle will make a business deal. “Don’t worry about my mother,” he’ll tell the person on the other end. “She will understand.” Then Claire will come to the door and he’ll officially offer her the position of his son’s nanny. Claire will happily accept and say she’s surprised Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) changed her mind.
But Kyle will make a face. “She did change her mind, right?” Claire will ask. Kyle will admit Summer’s still not completely on board. But he feels Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) needs her in his life. Claire will say she can’t undermine Summer. “Please reconsider,” Kyle will reply.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Believes She Needs Saving From Kyle
At the Jazz Club, Diane will wait for a client at the bar. Tucker will walk over and congratulate her on her Jabot promotion. “Brava,” he’ll say. “You’ve conquered this town, just as you’d hoped.” He’ll add he loves a good long con. Then he’ll ask her if there’s any chance Billy might leave Chancellor-Winters and return to Jabot and she’ll say no. Then she’ll get a call from the client she was supposed to meet. “My son did what?” she’ll ask.
Diane will arrive home and say she was waiting for someone at the club but he cancelled because her son had already pulled off the deal. But Kyle will tell her he saved her from a boring business meeting. “I don’t need saving from a business client Kyle,” Diane will reply. “Who I need saving from is you.” But Kyle will say the deal’s made, so who cares how it went down.
“I want you to tell me why you keep taking steps to sabotage me?” Diane will ask. Kyle will say the client didn’t think Diane had the chops to negotiate the deal. “You always aim to knock me down a peg or two,” he’ll add. But Diane will tell him not to dare try to turn it around on her.
At Chancellor-Winters, Nate will tell Lily and Devon he’s sorry things didn’t work out the way they’d hoped. Then he’ll check his phone and say he’s got dinner plans. So, he’ll tell them he’s going out with Audra. “I thought Audra was with Tucker,” Devon will say. But Nate will say it’s just a simple dinner and head out.
“There’s something you need to know, Phyllis no longer works with us,” Devon will tell Lily. “She actually quit before I had a chance to fire her.” Then he’ll explain he went to Tucker for help. “Please tell me we’re not in so much trouble that you need him to save us,” Lily will say.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Billy Sends Lily And Devon Flowers
He’ll say it was a spur of the moment thing and won’t be going to Tucker with his problems again anytime soon. Then they’ll get a flower delivery and Lily will read the card. “I hear your little plan to box me out didn’t work. Looking forward to working together. Best, Billy.” There’ll be a balloon attached and Devon will pop it.
Devon will suggest to Lily that they kill the merger and leave Chancellor behind. Then Lily will admit that Billy tried to push Devon to a secondary role so they could run the company together. So, she’ll suggest she goes to Billy and tell him she’ll work with him and let the Winters side go. Then she and Nate will leave and they can have their family company.
Meanwhile, Audra will arrive at Society and Nate will tell her she looks stunning. They’ll chat and flirt but then Tucker will walk in. “Can we go somewhere to talk privately?” he’ll ask Audra. But she’ll say she already made herself clear. And she’ll ask Nate to take her back to the Athletic Club.
When they arrive, Audra will tell Nate she’s ready to let Tucker go and she’ll suggest they have a nightcap up in her suite. Once they’re upstairs, she’ll pour him some scotch. Nate will say it’s good and Audra will tell him it’s Tucker’s. He’ll comment that Tucker wouldn’t like it.
Finally, there’ll be a knock on the door and Tucker will call out for Audra to let him in. But Audra will ask Nate to do the honors. So, he’ll open the door. “Audra, what’s he doing here?” Tucker will ask. Nate will say he was invited. He’ll add that he doesn’t care what happened between he and Audra. “But whatever it was, it was the last straw.” Then he’ll slam the door in Tucker’s face.
