The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, January 31 reveals Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will panic when she realizes Jordan (Colleen Zenk) could be coming after her.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will break troubling news to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Plus, Victoria and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) will make a decision about Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). And Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will try to talk Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) out of going after Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will tell Nikki she’s cleaned out her desk, unless she’s changed her mind about firing her. “I’m sorry, my decision stands,” she’ll reply. “A part of me regrets this, but under the circumstances, I need to be selfish.” Audra will say she hopes Nikki can find her replacement quickly. “Because running Newman Media alone, the stress is going to be a greater test of your sobriety than my presence could ever be.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Tells Audra She’s Making A Mistake
At Society, Tucker will ask Nate if he and Audra are a thing. Nate will tell him it’s none of his business. But Tucker will say he knows Audra’s up to something. Speak of the devil, Audra will show up and Tucker will walk out. But she’ll follow him outside and ask if she’s in. “Yes Audra, you are in,” he’ll reply. “Because bringing you back in is the only way I’m going to find out what the hell you’re up to.”
Audra will head inside and Nate will say he hopes she told Tucker to get lost. But she’ll say she couldn’t do that because she resigned from Newman Media. “Something must have gone very wrong for you to lie to my face,” he’ll reply. But Audra will say she’s out of a job either way. “Everything I did was to help her and all she saw was a threat,” Audra will add.
Nate will tell her he hopes she’s dropped her revenge plot against Tucker. But she’ll say it’d be much easier if he was with her in it. Nate will tell her he wants no part of it. Then he’ll warn Audra she’s making a mistake if she thinks she can go up against Tucker and win.
At Newman, Victor will tell Victoria and Nick about the huge fire at the prison where Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is incarcerated. “Is it wrong to hope that she’s burning in hell for what she did to mom?” Nick will ask. But Victor will say they don’t know anything about her whereabouts but it’s possible she could have escaped. So, they all have to stay on their toes.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Cole Advises Victoria To Stay Positive
“I can’t believe this,” Victoria will say. Nick will ask if Nikki is freaked out, but Victor will say he decided not to tell her. Then he’ll tell them Nikki fired Audra, because she found out about her drinking and tried to support her. “You’ll never understand the bond that Audra and I share,” he’ll reply. But Nate will say Audra will never reach her true potential with his dead weight around her neck.
Meanwhile, Nikki will call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), in a tizzy. He’ll talk her down, until Victoria shows up. She’ll say she heard Nikki fired Audra and will ask if it was a good idea. “Questioning my judgement is not helpful Victoria,” Nikki will snap. However, she’ll quickly apologize. “I wish everyone would stop hovering, I am fine,” Nikki will say. Victoria will offer to step in as interim COO but Nikki will tell her she needs to focus on Claire.
Then Victoria will meet with Cole and bring him up to speed about the prison fire. “We have to assume that if Jordan is alive, there’s a very good possibility she’s heading this way,” Victoria will say. They’ll debate about whether they should tell Claire. But Cole will advise against it. “The chances of Jordan actually having escaped during this fire are very slim, so we stay positive,” he’ll say.
Finally, Nikki will gasp, when she sees a story online about the massive prison fire in Oregon. She’ll also learn that some inmates have escaped. “Oh my God, what if she has escaped and she’s coming for me,” Nikki will say as she hugs her tablet. “She’s coming for me right now.”
