The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for the new year reveals Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will have a change of heart towards Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up in 2025, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will come face to face with Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise).
Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will end up in dire straights together. And Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will continue to struggle.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki will be in shock, when she finds out Jordan is no longer locked up. And thanks to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) sounding the alarm about Ian, Victor will learn the former cult leader is roaming around Genoa City as well.
Y&R Scoop – Nikki And Victor Confront Jordan And Ian
“We’re headed for a wild ride and a massive showdown between this diabolical duo and the Newmans,” Y&R Executive Producer and Head Writer Josh Griffith teases in an interview with TV Insider. “Look for major showdowns between Nikki and Jordan and Victor and Ian.”
Meanwhile, Sharon will be held hostage by the villains and Phyllis will be Ian and Jordan’s next target. “Sharon and Phyllis will be thrown into a life-or-death situation where they’re both going to have to reevaluate their relationship,” Griffith said.
As for Daniel, he’ll try to move on from Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) death. But it won’t be easy. So, he’ll end up on a new path. “I don’t want to say romance, but a bit of a walk on the emotional side,” Y&R’s head honcho shared.
Other Y&R spoilers tease Victor and Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) war will escalate. Plus, a mystery will evolve for the Winters’ family. And Mariah and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) relationship will be put to the test.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Dealing With A Lot Of Pushback
Finally, Kyle and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will find they’re dealing with pushback from all sides. Victor doesn’t want them together and Jack will be concerned about The Mustache’s interference in their relationship.
But the biggest challenge for Kyle and Claire may be Summer. She and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) recently decided to give their relationship another shot. However, Summer will begin to flip-flop. She’s already shown her jealous side, when she’s seen them together. So, what will she do about it?
“Summer’s decision of, ‘Maybe I want Kyle back,’ is going to throw another wrench into that,” Griffith teased. “We’re going to see Summer sort of return to her Phyllis attitude.” But which woman will Kyle end up with? Stay tuned!
