The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, October 17 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be shocked by Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) proposal.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will gain the upper hand on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Plus, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) scheme against Tucker.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will meet her kids for dinner at Society. She’ll tell them she’s feeling good and everything’s going to be smooth sailing from now on. Then Tucker will walk in and he’ll tell Phyllis she’s looking great and head to the bar. But he’ll glare over at Phyllis, so Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will confront him.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Has Got The Goods On Tucker
“I wasn’t glaring at her, I was looking at her and all of you actually,” Tucker will tell him. He’ll say he was jealous that they’re all pulling together when his situation is not like that. And he’ll tell him he wants to pick up their meal tab. Daniel will return to the table and say Tucker wants to pay for their dinner. After they’re finished, Daniel and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will encourage their mother to thank Tucker for picking up the check.
So, Phyllis will head to the bar and Tucker will say he knows she fed information to Jack. Then he’ll ask her if she’s playing both sides. “If I were to play sides, I definitely wouldn’t be on yours,” she’ll reply. But Tucker will play a recording of Jack saying Phyllis has something on him and he’ll tell her to meet him in his room in 15 minutes.
When Phyllis will show up at the GCAC, she’ll tell Tucker she is once again holding the cards. She’ll say she did a deep dive on him for Jack and came across a really interesting connection, which should interest Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). “You and Mamie Johnson are silent partners,” she’ll say. “I’m sure this is a secret you don’t want to let out, so how should we proceed?”
Meanwhile, Audra will tell Kyle she’s got a proposition for him. She realizes his first instinct will be to say no, but she wants him to hear her out anyway. But first, she’ll ask if he’s made any progress about the co-CEO position. And he’ll tell her it seems Billy’s going nowhere. “I deserve the second in command position, I’ve done it before,” he’ll complain. “It feels like my dad thinks I don’t have what it takes.”
Young And The Restless – Will Kyle Come Clean With Jack?
Then Kyle will want to know what the risky proposition is that she’s teasing him with. “What would you say if I told you I could offer you a position at Jabot?” Audra will reply. But a confused Kyle will ask how she’d manage to pull it off, and he’ll remind her his family still owns the company. So, she’ll say she wants him to form an alliance with her and Tucker.
“Why on earth would I consider joining forces with Tucker McCall?” Kyle will ask. “Is that what tonight was about? Are you just playing me?” But Audra will tell him he owes it to himself to hear her out. She’ll say the two of them could run Jabot the way it should be run. However, when Kyle angrily starts getting dressed, Audra will say they could take over the Abbott family dynasty and make it vital and exciting again. “You’re not family,” he’ll reply. But Audra will tell Kyle she and Tucker can give him the chance to run Jabot. “And it would be the mistake of a lifetime if you turned it down.”
At the Abbott estate, Jack and Billy will discuss Tucker’s listening device. “I give him points for ingenuity, a plant in a plant,” Billy will say. He’ll ask Jack who tipped him off and he’ll say it was Phyllis. A suspicious Billy will ask his brother how much he paid her for the info. “I didn’t pay her a dime,” Jack will reply. “I think she really wants to redeem herself.”
So, Jack will suggest they use the listening device against their nemesis. But Billy doesn’t think Tucker will fall for it. He has another plan in mind, he wants to release the damning information about Tucker. Then Kyle will burst in, with a worried look on his face. “What is it?” Jack will ask. “What’s wrong?” But will he tell Jack and Billy about Audra’s proposition?
