The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, December 19 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will remember a shocking detail while under hypnosis.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will run something by Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Plus, Denise Tolliver (Telma Hopkins) will have news for Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Y&R spoilers tease Denise will say she has a current address for Damian. She’ll tell them it’s an apartment building in a decent neighborhood. Amy will get emotional and Denise will advise them to decide quickly how they want to proceed.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Encourages Amy To Come With Him
“If Damian is in LA, I can go there and bring him back,” Nate will tell Amy. “Pack your bags, get ready to see your son.” However, Amy will say she thinks it’s best if he approaches Damian on his own. Nate will remind her he’s just some random guy to her son.
“What would you like me to tell Damian? Hey, I’m your brother?” Nate will ask. “I need you there to establish the connection.” She’ll say she’s afraid because he’ll hate her for the secret she’s been keeping. However, Nate will say Damian might be grateful to learn the truth. Eventually, Amy will agree and Nate will say he’ll make all the arrangements.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will watch, as moving men remove boxes filled with Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) belongings. “That’s the last of it,” Daniel will say. “Goodbye mom,” Lucy will add as she embraces her dad.
Phyllis will arrive and invite them out to lunch. But Lucy will say she’s tired and didn’t get much sleep the night before. So, Phyllis and Daniel will head to Society and she’ll ask for advice. She’ll tell him Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) wants her to help him get his company back but she said no.
“Good for you,” Daniel will tell his mom. Phyllis will say she did it for him and for his sister. But when she woke up this morning she felt like she’s made a huge mistake. “I need something in my life, I need a new direction.” Daniel will tell her she doesn’t need that in her life. But after he leaves, Phyllis will text Billy, asking to meet.
At Sharon’s cottage, she’ll tell Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) she wants to do another hypnotherapy session today and she’s already called Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) to come over. The therapist will arrive and ask Sharon if she’s sure about this.

“I think we should be very cautious here, you could be reliving some particularly traumatic experiences,” he’ll tell her. But Sharon will say she’s ready. Then Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) will arrive. He’ll be excited and say this could be their case. Nick will be concerned about Sharon but she’ll tell him she has no other choice.
So, Alan will begin the session and take Sharon back to the night she was at Daniel’s apartment. “I wanted his family to suffer the way that I had suffered,” she’ll say. “I was going to poison him.” Then she’ll describe putting the poison in the bottle of whisky. But she couldn’t go through with it, so, she poured it out. However, when she opened the door to leave, Heather was there.
Sharon will say she lied but Heather wouldn’t believe her and wouldn’t let her leave. “I felt scared and desperate.” So, she pushed Heather and she fell. Alan will ask if Heather was unconscious the whole time after she fell. And Sharon will recall her waking up.
“She got up and said you are out of your mind.” Sharon will remember getting really dizzy, as she watched Heather get up. And viewers will see a gloved hand touching Sharon’s shoulder, most likely Jordan Howard’s (Colleen Zenk). Alan will want to stop but Sharon will say she remembers.
“I pushed her down but she got back up. She moved away from me and looked scared.” Sharon will add that she felt dizzy and fell back onto the couch. “That’s when I heard a noise and Heather screamed and fell to the floor.”
Finally, Alan will wake Sharon up and she’ll tell Nick it doesn’t make sense. “Heather fell after I was on the sofa so what happened?” she’ll ask. “Did she trip or did she fall?” But there’s one thing Sharon will be certain of. “I didn’t do it Nick. I didn’t kill her.”
