The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, September 4 reveals Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will not be pleased to see Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at the hospital.
Also coming up, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will dole out their punishment to Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will have news for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will tell Chance she’s grateful. She knows he’s a good influence on her and is glad she’s got him to lean on. Then Chance will update Summer on what’s going on at Abbott-Chancellor. He’ll say Billy fired Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and has become a megalomaniac. Chance will tell her he’s considering something, but it’s radical and risky.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Katie’s Exasperated As Billy Ignores Her
Meanwhile, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercury) will head to Society for lunch with her dad. She’ll try to tell him about her soccer team and how she’s convinced she’d make the best team captain. But he’ll keep getting business calls that he needs to answer, leaving Katie exasperated.
So, Billy will apologize and tell her there’s a lot going on right now. “I get it, your problems are more important than mine,” Katie will reply. So, he’ll shut off his phone and actually listen to his daughter. Billy will say she obviously has the skill to make captain. But that doesn’t mean she’ll get picked. “This feels like a make or break moment but it’s not,” he’ll add. “And no matter what happens, you’re going to keep trying.”
They’ll return to the office and Chance will be waiting for Billy. Katie will head out and Chance will say he needs to talk to him. “Are you here to apologize for overstepping?” Billy will ask. But Chance will say no. “It’s time I made things very clear.”
At Crimson Lights, Heather and Daniel will tell Lucy they just want her to relax. They’ll let her know what her punishment is tomorrow. But she’ll balk, saying they may as well tell her now. So, they’ll blast her for drinking.
Lucy will say she learned her lesson, but Daniel will tell her she didn’t learn it the last time. “I’m sorry, what more do you want from me?” a defiant Lucy will reply. Heather will tell her saying sorry isn’t enough. “I hope you’re ready because you’re going to have to deal with some tough sentencing.”
Summer will show up and sit with them as they dole out Lucy’s punishment. Daniel will say she would have been fined $250, if she’d been charged with underage drinking. So, he’s going to make her donate the money to Cassie’s charity. Lucy will also need to perform the 32 hours of community service she would have been sentenced to. They’ve also decided she has to postpone her driver’s ed for a year.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lucy Will Be Angry And Storm Off
An angry Lucy will storm off and Summer will tell Daniel she thinks he’s being too lenient. Heather will agree that Lucy seems more concerned with the punishment than what she actually did. Summer will suggest they make Lucy write a letter of apology to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and her family.
At the hospital, Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will worry. The hospital hasn’t released Faith yet, the reason being they need to do further tests. Then Phyllis will show up, with a teddy bear. “Faith is sleeping right now, so as much as we appreciate you coming by, we really don’t have time for a friendly visit, Phyllis,” Sharon will snark.
Nick will walk into the hallway with Phyllis, who will try to reassure him about his daughter. She’ll tell him he’s a great dad and Faith will probably get her discharge papers any moment. Phyllis will put her hand on Nick’s face, just as Sharon walks into the hallway.
Finally, Sharon will tell Nick Faith is awake. But Faith will hear Phyllis and tell her to come over. “I’m sorry Phyllis, I hope you’re not too mad at me,” she’ll say as Phyllis sits beside her. But Phyllis will tell her she did nothing wrong. “So, I did the right thing?” Faith will ask. And Phyllis will say yes she did and she’s so grateful to her.
“You are not to blame, neither is Lucy,” she’ll add, as Sharon walks towards them. “No one is to blame.” Sharon will make an angry face as she listens to Phyllis. Then Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will appear. He’ll remind Sharon someone is definitely to blame and real consequences need to be faced.
