The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, February 16 suggests Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will begin to have doubts about her husband.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) becomes concerned about Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Plus, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will stand up for herself and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will ask Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to spy on Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).
Y&R spoilers tease Nick will visit his mother at the ranch. He’ll tell her it seems inevitable that Victoria and Adam are going to start fighting and he’s worried she’ll get caught in the crossfire. However, Nikki’s won’t be concerned. “I think I can handle a little sibling rivalry,” she’ll tell her son.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor Tells Adam What He’s Learned
Meanwhile, Victor will pay Victoria a visit at the office. She’ll ask him why he’s scrutinizing her husband. He’ll say he just wants to find out how things are going. So, she’ll tell him that Adam hired Sally as his COO and she’ll suggest Ashland isn’t the person he should be focusing on.
Victor will head to Newman Media and interrupt a romantic moment between Adam and Sally. He’ll immediately tell Adam that with everything that’s going on, he doesn’t need any more distractions. “Is that what I am?” Sally will ask Adam. “A distraction?” Adam will ask Victor to apologize and say that Sally has an impressive resume. But Sally will tell Victor she’s not going to spend her life apologizing for her past actions. “I have spent my entire life proving people wrong.”
However, Victor will still dismiss her and say he needs to talk to Adam alone. Adam will assure Victor Sally is the right woman for the job. “All right son,” Victor will reply. “I won’t stand in your way. As long as she proves she’s a team player.” Then Victor will tell Adam they have a more pressing problem. “Ashland Locke. I’ve never really trusted him.” But Victor will divulge that he’s discovered inconsistencies with his cancer treatment. “I want you to stay vigilant.” Adam will agree.
Young And The Restless Scoop – American Is Still Digging Around
Finally, Ashland will get another text about Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc). “The American is still digging around the clinic.” He’ll put his phone away and walk into Victoria’s office. The pair will discuss what to do about Adam. “It’s not a question of if Adam’s going to make his move, it’s when,” Ashland will say. Victoria will suggest that they don’t really need to wait for Adam to screw up, perhaps they should just make sure that he does. Ashland will agree with her plan.
“Once Adam is shown the door and Sally is not far behind him, I will be more than happy to step in and oversee Newman Media myself,” Ashland will tell her. “I am quite used to maintaining a strong hand over everything I control.” “Everything you control?” Victoria will ask. “You know this isn’t your company. It belongs to both of us.” He’ll say it was just a slip of the tongue. “I want to believe you, I really do,” Victoria will reply. “But your last confession has me a little wary.” Ashland will tell Victoria he loves her as he leaves but once he’s gone, she’ll look as though she doesn’t believe him.
