Y&R Scoop: Abby learns Chance wants a divorce

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, November 29 suggests Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) wants to divorce Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) immediately.

Also coming up, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will argue. Plus, Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will come clean with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). And Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) he distrusts him.

Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea will start hearing voices in her head again. But Billy will knock on her door, walk in and see her in distress. “Why won’t these dark thoughts go away?” she’ll ask him. Billy will explain her brain is still in self preservation mode. Chelsea will say it sounds like he knows exactly what she’s going through. “I believe in you, you do have the ability to push through,” he’ll tell her. But he’ll say there’s one person vital to her team right now, Chloe.

So, Chelsea will text her best friend and invite her over. She’ll admit she was in the hospital, for mental health reasons. Chloe will feel guilty for not being there for her. However, Chelsea will tell her it wasn’t her fault. Chloe will ask her friend what happened. “I was literally on the edge,” she’ll reply. “It could have gone forever wrong if it hadn’t been for Billy.”

Y&R Scoop: Lily argues with Billy

Speaking of Billy, he’ll meet Lily at the Glam Club. She’ll start talking about their relationship, but he’ll get distracted and check his phone. Lily will get angry and tell him he’s using Chelsea’s traumatic experience to run away from Chancellor Winters and from her. “This is you chasing the next high,” she’ll say. “And the next high now is you being Billy the savior.” But Billy will turn it around and say she doesn’t like the fact that he’s no longer working for her, so she can’t save him by reigning him in. “If I don’t need saving anymore, where does that leave you?”

Over at Newman Media, Nick will pay Nate a visit. He’ll tell Nate if it was up to him, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) would still be CEO. Nate will admit he’s impressed by what Sally did, but it wasn’t his choice she was let go. But Nick will say the job fell in his lap because he was betraying his family to help Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). “Unfortunately I don’t think I can trust the man you’ve become and I think that’s sad,” Nick will tell Nate.

Meanwhile, Chance will spot Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at the coffee shop and will say hello. But Victor will ask him what he did to his daughter. “I’m sorry, what exactly have you been told?” Chance will ask. And he won’t tell Victor that Abby cheated on him. Instead, he’ll advise him to speak with Abby herself. “What are you not telling me?” Victor will ask.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) place, Abby will drop off Dominic. Devon will ask if she’s talked to Chance. She’ll say no and she feels like she needs to face the facts. “My marriage is over.” Then Devon will reiterate he doesn’t regret what happened between them. They’ll lean in towards each other, about to kiss, but Dom will start crying.

Finally, Abby will walk into Society and see Chance sitting there. She’ll smile and say hello. Chance will tell her he just spoke with Victor. However, he didn’t tell him anything. “But this conversation with your father, it got me thinking about this whole situation,” he’ll say, and Abby will look hopeful. “It would be a monumental mistake to drag this out any further. I think the best thing for everyone involved is that we move forward with the divorce, immediately.”
