Young And The Restless Scoop: Victoria Newman Tells Her Family She's Leaving

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, June 7 suggests Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will assert her independence.

Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will be thrilled when the Jabot board of directors agree to purchase Marchetti. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will try to get Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to face facts. And Kyle will face off with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will wake up in Ashland’s bed at the Grand Phoenix but she’ll be sleeping over the covers with a blanket on. She’ll thank him again for agreeing to take things slow then she’ll say she’s going to take a stand with her family. “I choose you. I’m so sick and tired of them trying to control me,” she’ll tell him. “My father used his power and his influence to keep you away from your son to pressure you into leaving town. It’s totally inexcusable.”

Y&R Daily Scoop – Summer And Kyle Are Staying In Town

At Society, Diane will treat Kyle and Summer to breakfast. They’ll share with her that Kyle is making a presentation to the Jabot board to purchase Marchetti. If they agree, it means they’ll be moving back to Genoa City. Ashland will approach their table and tell Kyle he knows Victor was behind the restraining order and he’s appalled. “What’s appalling is a father telling his son he has a terminal illness then pushing him to move overseas so he doesn’t witness his so called demise,” Kyle will reply. Ashland will say he’s leaving town and would like to see Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) one more time. But Kyle will refuse.

When Summer and Kyle get back to the Abbott estate, Jack will tell them the presentation went over very well. The Jabot board has agreed to purchase Marchetti. But now all they need is to get Angelina Marchetti to agree to it. Summer will say it won’t be a problem and they’ll celebrate Skyle’s permanent return to town.

Meanwhile, Adam warn Victor that with Victoria back in town, it’ll be harder to get rid of Ashland.  “I have a strong suspicion that she wants him to stick around,” Adam will say. But Victor will disagree. “You’re refusing to see what’s right in front of your face, that Victoria is still in love with Ashland Locke,” Adam will reiterate. Victor will tell his son that Victoria is too smart and too strong to be pulled back into Ashland’s orbit again. Then he’ll get a text from Victoria. She wants to meet with the family at her office.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Ashland Has Reaped What He’s Sown

Finally, Victoria will thank her family for meeting her at Newman. She’ll begin by blasting Victor about the restraining order, keeping Ashland from seeing Harrison. “This time you’ve gone too far.” Victoria will say he loves that little boy. Victor will tell her Ashland has reaped what he has sown. But Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will ask why she’s defending Ashland.

“This ends now, I’m leaving this company,” she’ll tell them. “I’m leaving this town and I’m going some place where I can start over.” Then the camera will pan to Adam, who is obviously stunned but also thrilled. Victoria will tell her family she’s tired of playing by their rules. “Are you talking about leaving with Ashland?” Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask. “For the first time ever, I’m proclaiming my independence,” she’ll reply. “I’m reclaiming my life. That’s why I’m leaving.”
