The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, January 10 suggests Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will volunteer to risk everything for Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will stun Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will force an issue. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will apologize to Summer Newman (Alison Lanier).
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will arrive at the Abbott estate to speak to Summer. “I wanna fix whatever’s going on between us,” she’ll say. A confused Summer will ask her what’s changed. “You’ve been blaming me for not taking your side in an untenable situation,” she’ll say to her mother. Phyllis will admit she let her animosity get the better of her and will ask for Summer’s forgiveness.

Meanwhile, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will show up at Devon’s and invite him out for coffee. But she’ll notice something’s off and he’ll invite her in. Devon will tell her what happened with Tucker. “The grandfather that Dominic deserves isn’t here anymore,” he’ll say. “Tucker is just a sack of lies, pretending to care about his family.” But his chat with Abby will give him an idea. He’ll set up a video chat with Jill, who will admit she’s embarrassed about with happened with Audra.
“I brought that woman on board,” she’ll say. “And of course we have to put the IPO on hold one more time.” But Devon will tell Jill he doesn’t want to discuss the IPO. “I’ve come to realize that merging Chancellor and Hamilton-Winters has been a mistake.” He’ll call it a disaster and say he wants to buy his company back. Jill will think it’s an extreme reaction and a mistake. However, Devon will beg to differ. “If you or Lily prevent me from getting the company back, I will not have a problem with being public for my lack of support for this IPO.”
At Newman Media, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will tell Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) he’s interviewing Audra Charles for the COO position. Victoria will be surprised, since she works at Chancellor Winters. But Nate will say her work there is done. Then Audra will arrive and Victoria will sit in for the interview. When they’re done, Audra will say they may as well decide now if she’s a fit. Victoria will leave it up to Nate and he’ll tell Audra she’s got the job.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Stark’s Deadline Is Tomorrow
At Society, Diane will approach Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). She’ll say she’s planning to surprise him with her act of good faith. Stark will want to know details, but she won’t want to disclose what she’s planning. So he’ll give her a deadline. “You have until tomorrow.” Diane will try to talk him out of it but he won’t budge.
Finally, Diane will go running to Jack and tell him about Stark’s deadline. She’ll also say whatever she steals needs to be of great value. Jack will realize there’s no way they’ll be able to get through security at the ranch. But he’ll come up with another idea. He’ll tell Diane that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have a place in Chicago.
“I know the alarm code, if they haven’t changed that,” he’ll say. He also knows the secret compartment where Nikki keeps her prized jewelry. Jack will tell her the security team has been there for a long time and they know him. Diane will balk but Jack will be set on his plan. “I have a better chance of getting into the apartment than you,” he’ll say. “I’ll bring a piece of Nikki’s dazzling jewelry back, hand it to you and you give it to Stark as if you stole it.” But will Jack be successful, or will he get caught?
