The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, May 12 suggests Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will plant a seed in Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) mind.
Also coming up, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will agree to officiate Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter’s (Cait Fairbanks) wedding. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will take Ashland’s donation.
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah and Tessa will discuss their nuptials. Suddenly Mariah will remember she didn’t confirm that Kyle would officiate the wedding. There’ll be a knock on the door. It’s Kyle. He’ll admit he was packing to return to Milan. But he called Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and she convinced him to stay for the wedding. He’ll still have his doubts about officiating, however. But Mariah will convince him otherwise.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sharon Finds Out About The Donation
Meanwhile, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will arrive home from Miami. Nick will be there with Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and will ask if he can run something by her. He’ll tell her someone wants to make a sizeable donation to New Hope under Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) name. “Who’s the donor?” She’ll ask. “That’s the thing,” Nick will say. “It’s Ashland Locke.” Nick will say he’s doing it to get Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) forgiveness. “Just take the money Nick,” she’ll say. “As far as I’m concerned, this would be poetic justice.”
At Crimson Lights, Victoria will run into Ashland and say that although his offer to her brother was generous, it’s hard for her to believe he doesn’t have an ulterior motive. He’ll say he has great regret about the accident. But Victoria will tell him Rey died of a heart attack. “Thank you, you didn’t have to tell me,” Ashland will say. “You could have let me continue to blame myself.”
At Newman Media, Adam will tell Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that he wants Newman Enterprises for himself. He has the perfect plan and Ashland is the key. He’ll tell Sally that Victoria is still conflicted about her former husband. “If Ashland were to win back Victoria’s love and trust…dad will be so furious that she took him back that he’s finally going to question her ability to run the company.” Adam thinks they should attempt to reignite Ashtoria’s romance.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Ashland Regrets Taking The Payoff
Finally, Nick will meet Ashland at Society and tell him he’ll accept the donation, as long as it stays anonymous. Ashland will agree. Nick will say this doesn’t make them cool. He still thinks he’s a snake and should leave town. Ashland will say he’s not going anywhere. “Nick, you don’t intimidate me, at all.” He’ll say the Newmans tried to run him out of town but he’s still there. “Next time, we’ll get a little more creative and certainly more extreme,” Nick will respond.
Sally and Adam will walk in as Ashland is wiring the money. After Nick leaves, Adam will turn around and tell Ashland his donation isn’t going to change Victoria’s mind about him. “What I want or plan is none of your damn business,” Ashland will reply. Although he’ll admit he regrets taking the payoff in the first place, because he lost the woman he loves. So, Ashland will ask Adam what the problem is. Adam will say the problem is that Victoria wasn’t the one who tried to drive him out of town. “It’s like she’s still hanging on to the fantasy of the guy she thought she had fallen in love with.”
