The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, January 13 suggests Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will defend Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will continue to press her father to let her buy Newman Media. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will say no to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and will not be pleased by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) intentions.
Y&R spoilers tease Sally will encourage Adam to be spontaneous and come to New York with her. But Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will walk outside and interrupt them. Adam will tell Sally that as much as he appreciates the offer, the timing is not great. “What was that about?” Chelsea will ask Sally after he leaves. “What did you offer Adam?” Sally will lie and say she was just telling him about the few ideas she had that Chelsea didn’t reject.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victor’s Confidence In Adam Is Shaken
Meanwhile, Victoria will mislead Victor by saying she found out about Billy’s plan and demanded that he back down. “If it weren’t for me, Newman Media would be in a huge mess right now.” But Victor will tell her he doesn’t want her to use the situation to go after Adam. “I don’t like it.”
She’ll tell him to imagine both media companies were under the Newman Locke banner. They’d be unstoppable. However, Victor will tell her overconfidence is a dangerous thing and he’ll turn her down, again. “I want to give Adam more time to prove himself,” Victor will say.
But his confidence in Adam will be shaken and he’ll head to Newman Media. He’ll tell Adam Victoria found out what Billy’s plan was. “Victoria saw the whole plan and you didn’t,” Victor will say. “But you should have.” Adam will say Victoria had more opportunity to figure it out than he did. And he’ll will promise Victor that Newman Media was never in any peril. Victor will tell him he’s going to take a more active role in the company. Adam will say he doesn’t need to do that. “It’s not up for debate,” Victor will reply
Young And The Restless Scoop – Chelsea Invites Adam For A Drink
After Victor leaves, Adam will be in a foul mood and Chelsea will walk into his office. He’ll be rude to her and she’ll call him out for it. But Adam will apologize and tell her he let his father get to him again. “I’ve lost count of how many times that man has pushed you aside and patronized you,” Chelsea will say. Then she’ll invite him to go for a drink and he’ll accept.
Finally, Lily will ask Ashland to accept that he won and leave Billy alone. “What is it about that man that compels strong, intelligent women to rush to his defense?” he’ll ask her. “Enlighten me, please?” However, in terms of Chancellor Industries, Ashland will say he has no plans to come after her, or Billy. His recent lab results were encouraging and he doesn’t want to expend any more energy on Billy. “If he sticks to his word, he has nothing to fear from me,” Ashland will tell her. But does he mean it?
