The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, February 2 suggests Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will be furious with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will admit he doesn’t like working at Jabot. Plus, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will face off with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). And Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will pay Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) a visit.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will have a coffee with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan). She’ll ask him what’s up and he’ll mention Jabot. “Except for Jack, none of the Abbotts want me there,” he’ll admit. Then he’ll tell her what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been up to and he’ll say he’s not happy working at Jabot. He’ll even say he’s been slacking off there. “As much as I hate to admit it, my father’s instincts are dead on.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chance Returns A Case Full Of Money
In The Grand Phoenix lobby, Diane will greet Nikki. “I know that you and Jack were behind the break-in at our apartment,” she’ll reply. “You stole my necklace and framed Jeremy Stark for it.” Diane will say she thinks Nikki is happy that Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) out of the picture. Nikki will ask Diane if she’s moved in with Jack yet. Diane will say she hasn’t moved in yet but she and Jack are back together. “It’s real and it’s happening and there’s nothing you or Phyllis or Ashley can do to stop it.”
Meanwhile, Jack will call Kyle into his office and ask him to dispel a rumor he heard. “Victor is plotting against Adam and you’re helping him to implement it,” Jack will say. Kyle will admit Victor approached him but lie and say he hasn’t committed to it. He’ll also say Adam’s performance has been lackluster and Jack will admit it has. Then Kyle will accuse Jack of making a mistake by hiring Adam. “He doesn’t even want to be here. Why don’t you just cut him loose and call it a day.” Jack will say Adam’s position is not up for debate. “He answers to me, not you or Victor.”
After his argument with Kyle, Jack will return home. He’ll be surprised when Chance comes to the door, on police business. He’ll have Jack’s briefcase with him. It was found in Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) room, filled with half a million dollars. Chance will tell Jack Stark claims he loaned it to him. Jack will lie and say he did. “This certainly worked out well for you, didn’t it Jack?” Chance will say. “Stark’s locked up and you didn’t lose a dime. That’s pretty convenient.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Exposes Kyle’s Lie
At Society, Summer will meet with Victor. “Please stop trying to get Kyle to help you in your plan to punish Adam,” she’ll plead. She’ll tell Victor she was relieved when Kyle told her he turned him down. She’ll also say Victor’s machinations could cause a huge conflict between her husband and his father.
Finally, Summer will return to the office and say she just talked to her grandfather about trying to rope him into his scheme. Kyle will say someone told Jack about it. “Aren’t you glad you listened to me?” she’ll ask. “You’re staying out of it, right?”
Then Adam will walk in. “I gather you know what your husband’s up to?” he’ll ask Summer. “Surely you know that he’s been working with Victor to get me exiled from Jabot.” Adam will say he was surprised Kyle would do something so underhanded, knowing how it’ll anger Jack. “Why don’t you admit that you don’t really wanna be here?” Kyle will reply. Then Summer will turn around. And by the look on Kyle’s face, she’ll know her husband has been lying to her.
