The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, December 23 suggests Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will regret asking Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to join him for a drink.
Also coming up, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) gets some guidance from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Plus, Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will help out Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will look forward to their first Christmas as man and wife.
Y&R spoilers tease Ashland will drop by Newman Locke and ask his wife if she’s ready to go. Victoria will tell him she still has tons of work to do. He’ll sit down to help her and they’ll finish up early. “This is our first Christmas Eve together,” Ashland will say. “I can’t tell you how grateful I am to share all of this with you.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Lets Go Of His Resentment
At Crimson Lights, Sharon will tell Nick she’s looking forward to spending Christmas with everyone. He feels bittersweet about last year, when he and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) were together and Summer Newman (Hunter King) was still in town. It has him wondering about his place and purpose. Sharon will tell him he may not be sure of who he is but she is. She’ll say he’s a good man, a great father and a thoughtful friend. “After all these years, we know each other better than anyone else.”
Victoria and Ashland will arrive, hoping to shake off the Wisconsin winter with a coffee. Nick will spot them and walk over. He’ll say if he’s ever going to move forward he needs to let go of some stuff. “I do not want my resentment towards you to ruin my relationship with my sister,” Nick will tell Ashland. “In the spirit of the holidays, I would like to put this chapter behind us and start fresh.” Ashland will say he’d like nothing more and he and Nick will shake hands.
Meanwhile, Noah will drop by the ranch and Victor will tell him he needs his help. He wants him to help wrap all the presents for Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). “I’m in,” Noah will say. But then Chelsea and Connor will walk in and he will spy his unwrapped presents. It’s hockey gear and Noah will agree to give him a quick lesson.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Doesn’t Do Pity Invitations
At Newman Media, Sally will ask Adam why he’s still at the office on Christmas Eve. She, on the other hand, has no plans because she has no family waiting for her. He’ll ask if she’s fishing for an invitation. Adam will tell her he doesn’t do pity invites. But he’ll say he does have time for a quick holiday drink. “Would you like to join me?” he’ll ask. They’ll head to Society but will be surprised when Chelsea walks in. Adam will ask her to join them and she’ll accept.
Chelsea and Sally will spar about their different visions for the Newman Media fashion line. Adam will look uncomfortable. He’ll roll his eyes and say it’s time to stop talking business. Then Chelsea will tell Adam she’s looking forward to spending Christmas with he and Connor. She’ll ask Sally what her plans are. Sally will tell her she’ll be working. “I’m practically married to my job, which is great because it’s turning out better than I ever dreamed.” Then she’ll grin coyly at Adam. Chelsea will purse her lips and try to smile.
