The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 7 suggests Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) will take Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) bait.
Also coming up, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will talk about feeling like outsiders in their own families. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will tell his son his timing is bad.
Y&R spoilers tease Chance will tell Rey he’s working hard to have the same kind of bond that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) has with Dominic. “I’m Dominic’s father but sometimes it feels as though Devon’s claim to him is just a little bit more legitimate,” Chance will say. “And he and Abby just have this bond for the baby in common.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Rey Knows Exactly How Chance Feels
Rey will say he knows exactly how Chance feels. It’s how he feels when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is around. He likes Nick and thinks he’s a great guy. “But when they’re all together, it’s like they’re the family and I’m on the outside.”
Meanwhile, Victoria will tell Ashland that staying in town will help them prove that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) set him up. She’ll point out that such a scheme takes a certain kind of arrogance and a sense of invincibility. By the look on Ashland’s face, it’ll be obvious Victoria’s point hit close to home. “Is something wrong?” she’ll ask him. Ashland will say nothing is wrong, he was just distracted. But he has a question for her. “If this investigation proves fruitless, will you still believe in me?”
He’s worried she still has doubts about him but she’ll say she’s the one encouraging him to look into Adam. “How can I prove to you that I am on your side?” Victoria will ask him. Then she’ll tell him Adam tried to frame her in the past too. “He accused me of trying to tamper with my father’s medicine to hurt him. ” Ashland will finally believe her and she’ll tell him she needs to tell her family they’re not going to Italy.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam And Sally’s Pitch To Victor
At Newman Locke, Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will pitch an idea for Newman Locke to Victor. He’ll remind Adam he put him in charge of the company to prevent major changes, not instigate them. He’ll ask to talk to his son alone and Sally will leave. Victor will tell Adam he likes his idea, it’s just that the timing is off. However, he’ll give him the go ahead. Then Victor’s phone will ring. It’s Victoria. She’ll ask that he and Adam meet her in her office.
Adam and Victor will arrive at Newman, with Nick just behind them. Victoria will say Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is on her way. Victor will ask where Ashland is. “I’m not sure,” Victoria will reply. “But I have a pretty good idea.”
Finally, like the snake he is, Ashland will slither into Adam’s office. Ashland will spot his laptop, pull on a pair of latex gloves and prepare to frame Adam for setting him up. But will anyone spot him?
