Young And The Restless Scoop: Daniel Romalotti And Phyllis Summers

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals that Michael Graziadei, who portrays Daniel Romalotti, will be back in Genoa City this fall.

According to Soap Opera Digest, Graziadei will be returning to the sudser. More than likely, Daniel will be in town to attend Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) renewal ceremony.

Graziadei first took on the role of Daniel, the son of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian), in 2004. He played the character until 2013, but did return for a brief stint in 2016.

Y&R Scoop – Fans Want To See Daniel And Lily Reunite

Fans were excited by news of his return and sounded off on social media. “Can’t wait to see Daniel with his mom and sister,” one fan posted on Twitter. “Yay! Phyllis needs her son!” another said.

Other viewers were hopeful that he’ll run into his ex Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) while he’s in town. They’d also love to see the couple reunite, although it doesn’t seem likely, since she’s currently living with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

“I would love to see Lily and Daniel back together!” a viewer commented. “OMG YES!! I hope this means Daniel and Lily are getting back together,” another said.

But alas, it doesn’t seems Graziadei will have time to get back together with Lily. It’s rumored he’ll only be returning for another short appearance, this time for the Y&R’s 50th anniversary. However, viewers will be able to at least look forward to seeing Daniel reunite with his mother and sister.
