The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 11 reveals Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will find Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) listening device in the bonsai tree.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will tip off Jack. Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will tell his mother he plans on replacing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). And Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will keep a secret from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).
Y&R spoilers tease Lily will tell Daniel he looks a little off today. But instead of telling her that Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) is planning on moving to Genoa City, he’ll say he’s worried about his mother starting work at Omega Sphere.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Kyle’s Convinced It’s Going To Happen
At the Abbott estate, Jack will say he’s worried that he hasn’t heard from Phyllis. He and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will discuss Tucker, as he listens in on the recording device he planted on the bonsai tree. Then he’ll get a text from Phyllis. “Found something. Can we meet?” And Jack will say he thinks Phyllis has found something on Tucker and he’s meeting her at Crimson Lights.
After Jack heads out, Kyle will arrive home and Diane will tell him his son wondered where he was this morning. Kyle will say he stayed with a friend and his mother will mention Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver). “I hope the friend whose place you stayed at last night wasn’t her,” Diane will reply. Kyle will say not to worry about him, he’s found his focus. “I want my old job back as co-CEO of Jabot. I’m going to replace Billy and I am convinced that will happen.”
Meanwhile, Phyllis will tell Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) it’s her first day working with Daniel. Danny will tell her Heather’s back in town, which means Lucy Romalotti (Emily Brooks O’Briant) is staying with Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) in Lisbon. “Are you holding out hope that you can be with Christine if she doesn’t work things out with Paul?” Phyllis will blurt. “Are you interested in the bug?”
Then Tucker will walk in and she’ll walk up to the counter. Tucker will comment that Phyllis has been a busy woman. “Hoping Jack will turn the tables on me?” he’ll ask. “You should know by now Phyllis, I have eyes and ears all over this town.” And when Jack walks in, Phyllis will leave.

Not surprisingly, Tucker will ask Jack if he liked his gift. “Did you really think that Diane and I are that gullible?” Jack will reply. “We don’t for one minute buy your truce.” Jack will add that they know what he put Phyllis up to. “The next time you think of doing something against Jabot, I believe you should think twice.” Then Jack will get a text from Phyllis, saying she’s at Society, and he’ll leave.
So, Tucker will head to the GCAC and he’ll tell Audra he’s wondering if Phyllis is working as a double agent for Jack. “How about you, how are things at your end?” Audra will tell him she rekindled the fire with Kyle. “I haven’t even told you the best part,” she’ll add. “Kyle is after Billy’s job.”
When Jack gets to Society, Phyllis will tell him Tucker recently purchased a listening device with a phone app and he told her he has eyes and ears all over Genoa City. A stunned Jack will thank her. “So we’re square?” she’ll ask. “No, we’re on our way,” Jack will reply.
Finally, Jack will rush home and immediately grab the bonsai tree on the coffee table. He’ll look at it closely, locate the bug and place the tree outside. Jack will walk back inside and say Phyllis told him Tucker bought a listening device and an app to go with it. “Tucker’s little gift of harmony had a hidden surprise,” he’ll tell Kyle and Diane. “Ah, that Son of a bitch!” Kyle will say. He’ll ask his father if he’s going to destroy it. “I thought about that but changed my mind” he’ll reply. “If Tucker isn’t on to us, we can use this to our advantage.”
