The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, January 31 suggests Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will struggle with a big decision.
Also coming up, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will make Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) an offer and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is sure her brother will quit. Plus, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) believes Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) needs therapy.
Y&R spoilers tease Abby will tell Chance she’s glad he’s opening up to her but she thinks he should talk to a professional. He’ll say he doesn’t want to talk to a stranger. “I really want you to heal,” Abby will say. Chance thinks he just needs to keep his mind occupied and he’s decided he wants to go back to work.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Victoria Is Positive Adam Will Quit
At Society, he’ll meet up with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and tell him he wants to rejoin the force. Rey isn’t sure it’s such a good idea. “Look, if I can just do some good, if I can just save one life,” Chance will say. “Then maybe I can make up for the ones that I’ve lost.”
While Chance is out, Abby will call Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and she’ll pop by the Chancellor estate. Abby will tell Sharon she knows Chance is still struggling and she suggested he see a therapist. “But he’s being very resistant.” Sharon will say she thinks Chance should be there for the conversation. “We can’t impose our expectations onto him,” Sharon will reply. “He needs to decide if he’s ready for therapy.”
Meanwhile, after rubbing Adam’s nose in her latest victory, Victoria will meet Ashland at Crimson Lights. She’ll be surprised when she finds out he offered Nate a position (which he’ll turn down) at Newman Locke. Victoria will tell Ashland she doesn’t think he should be making offers on a whim, especially to a friend. Talk will turn to Adam and Victoria will say she’s confident that he’ll quit before he ever works for her.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victor Doesn’t Need His Approval
At Newman Ranch, Adam will arrive and ask Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) how he could do something like this. “I don’t need your approval,” Victor will reply. However, he’ll tell Adam the deal is contingent on him staying on, plus he’d be running Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) old company. Then Victor will inform him that whether he stays on or quits, the deal will go ahead.
When he returns to work, Adam will tell Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) that Victor has sold Newman Media to Newman Locke. Chelsea will run off to tell Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Sally will shut the door and encourage Adam to stay. She believes his position is stronger than Victoria’s. “She’s never going to be able to control you and she knows that,” Sally will say. “And who knows? Maybe, just maybe, you may be able to find a way to control her. So will you stay?”
