The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, December 19 suggests Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will snag Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) an invite to the ranch for Christmas.
Also coming up, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is tired of being disappointed. Plus, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) discuss holiday plans. And Chelsea will make amends to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson).
Y&R spoilers tease Mariah and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will show up at the coffee house, to help Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) decorate. Sharon will be feeling a little down, since Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is spending the holidays in Switzerland with friends. Tessa will blurt out they’re meeting with a pregnant woman in the New Year. But when she sees Mariah’s reaction she’ll apologize. Mariah will say she’s not mad, she just doesn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up. Tessa will say there have been disappointments but it’s their journey.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nick Says They’ll Do Something Special
At the Glam Club, Nick will walk in. Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) will ask his dad why he looks so spiffy and then Sally will join Nick. Sally will make Noah laugh and Nick will be impressed. They’ll head back to her suite and Nick will admit that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had a dossier prepared on her. But he didn’t read it because he doesn’t want to hear about her misdeeds. After they sleep together, Sally will say she doesn’t want to interfere with his family holiday plans. However, he’ll say after he spends time with Christian, they’ll do something special.
Meanwhile, Adam will arrive at the ranch to pick up Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). He’ll tell Victor he and Connor will be there for Christmas but he also wants to bring Chelsea. Victor will balk. He’ll bring up what Chelsea did to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) and deny his request. “I’m here to make a plea for my family,” Adam will say and Victor will relent.
At Chelsea’s place, Chloe will arrive. After some chitchat, Chelsea will tell Chloe she has been making amends and she’s next. Chloe will say if anyone needs to make amends, it’s her. She blew up the cabin with Adam in it and kidnapped Connor. Chelsea will say she wants to make amends for what happened this year. Chloe knew what was happening to her, but she pushed her away. She’ll accept Chelsea’s apology and say she wants to focus on the present and the future.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Adam Will Be Her Wing Man
Chloe and Chelsea will head downstairs. Then Chelsea will get a call from Adam. He’ll tell her Connor wants to stay the night at the ranch. She’ll look a little sad and go for a walk outside. Adam will show up and ask to join her. He’ll say he was feeling a little lonely without Connor, so he thought he’d come find her. Adam will tell her they’re all set for Christmas at the ranch. “I’ll be close, I’ll be your wing man,” he’ll say. “So if you wanna get out of there, just say the word and we’ll leave.”
Finally, Chelsea will thank him for all his help. Then she’ll ask him about his breakup with Sally. “I will admit I do have moments of self-pity and loneliness,” he’ll tell her. “But I’m trying to focus on what I’ve got. A wonderful son with a caring mother.” Adam will suggest that this holiday, they should both focus on their family and Chelsea will agree.

I want Adam to get a break from being a bad person. I am sad because the writers always make him as a bad person. Give him a break. Even though he had what he needed financially, his mother was his main focus. His mother was kind, sweet, etc, so let Adam have some of his mother’s characteristics. Why should his siblings always have a break with Victor? He’s smart and he loves his son. Adam and Connor’s mother can have their own business. I am for Adam. Even though Adam and Sally had chemistry, let her have Nick. Sleeping back and forward with brothers makes me sick. Adam went through trauma as a little kid because of what that man was during to his mother and end up killing someone. Make his life whole. AGAIN GIVE HIM A GREAT LIFE AND NO CHANGING.

I think they need to bring back some of the “Young” generation.
I love the new good Adam. I’d love to see him have a loving relationship with Chelsea. Love for him now to focus on his family and for him, Chelsea and Connor to spend some fun, happy and loving holidays together and for Chelsea to turn Billy away to spend uninterrupted holidays with Adam and Connor
