The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, November 4 suggests Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that heroes don’t gloat.
Also coming up, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will offer Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) a chance. Plus, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will confront Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) about her lies.
Y&R spoilers tease Ashley will sit at Society’s bar and Tucker will show up. She’ll ask him if there was anything he left out about Diane in their previous conversation. He’ll lie and say no. Then she’ll flirt with him, but he’ll be suspicious, saying it seems too soon. Tucker will ask if she’ll give him another chance and she’ll say maybe. “Challenge accepted,” he’ll reply.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Kyle Tells His Mother He Needs Time
At Jabot, Kyle will spot his mother. She’ll say she needs to tell him something and he’ll suggest they head home. When they get there, Diane will recount her tale of woe to Kyle. “I didn’t have a choice,” she’ll say. “What matters now is that you colluded with Tucker and concealed it,” her son will respond. Diane will say she had no ill intention. But Kyle will tell her she broke his trust. “I have no idea if we can ever get back to the way things were before.”
Kyle will remind her of what she said when they first were face to face. “You promised you wouldn’t hide anything from me, ever again.” She’ll apologize but say Tucker forced her to stay silent. Then Kyle will say he’s loved having her there but he needs time. “Somebody else forced your hand. I don’t know if I can believe a word that you say anymore.” After he leaves, Diane will sit in the living room and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) will come downstairs. He’ll say he doesn’t feel good and she’ll realize he’s burning up with fever.
At Crimson Lights, Phyllis will confront Jack about Diane. “Please indulge me in a moment of ‘I was right all along’ because I was in fact, right all along.” She’ll ask why he isn’t showing any outrage over Diane lying. But Jack will accuse her of being delighted about being vindicated, instead of being concerned about Kyle and Summer. “If you all had listened to me, none of this would have happened,” Phyllis will say. “She’s been lying and she needs to leave so we can all move forward.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Diane Has Jack Sucked Back In
But when Jack pushes back, Phyllis will have an epiphany. “Oh my God, Diane has you totally sucked in, doesn’t she?” she’ll ask. But Jack will tell Phyllis to look in the mirror. “From the moment she returned you have done everything you could to get in her way.” Phyllis will reply that if it hadn’t been for her, Diane might not have confessed. Jack will say they might be better off if she hadn’t.
“I can’t believe this, we’ve stepped through the looking glass and we’re backwards now,” Phyllis will reply. Jack will tell her not to paint herself as a noble hero. “Heroes don’t gloat,” he’ll say. “They aren’t petty.” Then Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will walk in and interrupt them. After Jack leaves, Phyllis will ask her daughter how she feels. Summer will say she’s been patient with Diane. “But the more secrets that come out, the more I see that you’re right. Diane needs to go.”
Finally, Summer will return to the office and Kyle will say he confronted his mother. She’ll ask him what he wants to do. It seems he’ll already be on the verge of forgiving Diane, because Kyle will say nothing she did was malicious. “As your wife, the person that loves you the most,” Summer will advise him. “I don’t think we can run the risk of trusting her again.”
