Young And The Restless Scoop: Chelsea Newman Has It Out With Sally Spectra

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 27 suggests Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will continue to unravel.

Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get a surprise when he returns home. Plus, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to talk her daughter into forbidding Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) from seeing his mother. And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will get exactly what she wants.

Y&R spoilers tease Jack will tell Phyllis he’s not going to influence Kyle one way or the other. “You’re not going to,” Phyllis will say to herself after he leaves. “But someone has to.”  So, she’ll try to influence Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) against Diane. Her daughter will tell her it’s Kyle’s decision. “You know what’s funny?” Phyllis will reply. “Jack has taken the same stance. He just wants to stand by and do nothing.”

Meanwhile, Jack will arrive home to find Diane there, with Kyle. He’ll say he offered to put Diane up in another hotel. Diane will explain that Phyllis kicked her out of the Grand Phoenix, hoping she’d leave town. “I assume that’s what you were hoping too.” Jack will tell her Phyllis acted on her own and Diane will apologize.

After Diane leaves, Jack will caution his son. “I just wish that you and the rest of the family will take a deep breath and keep an open mind,” Kyle will say and he’ll add he has some news. He and Summer want to stay in Genoa City, but Jabot will need to buy Marchetti. Jack will be intrigued. At the same time, Summer will tell Phyllis. She’ll be overjoyed that her daughter could be coming home. But at the same time, she’ll be worried that it means Diane will be around even longer.

Meanwhile, Jack will show up at Diane’s suite at the Athletic Club and tell her he supports Kyle’s decision. But she better not hurt him. “I give you my word, I will never hurt our son again,” she’ll say. He’ll then head to the Grand Phoenix and fill Phyllis in that Diane was spending time at the house when he got home. Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) even has a nickname for her, “Didi.”

Young And The Restless Scoop – Chelsea’s Behavior Concerns Adam

At Society, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will talk business. Chelsea will walk in as she’s leaving a message, blasting Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) for being late. “Is everything all right?” Adam will ask and Chelsea will turn around. “Everything’s great,” Chelsea will lie. “Although I’m sure some people would love for something to be wrong with me.” Sally will sigh. “You know what?” Sally will tell her. “I am sick of the baseless accusations that you continually sling my way.” Chelsea will ask Sally if she actually expects her to believe that she cares about her well being. Then she’ll talk about how Adam handed her a corporate desk job.

Finally, Chloe will show up and Chelsea will hit the roof when they talk about their fashion line. Chelsea will be aggressive with Chloe, asking if she’s patronizing her, lying to her or both. Then she’ll storm off. Adam will approach Chloe and ask if she’s worried about Chelsea’s mental state. Chloe will try to cover for her friend. She’ll say Chelsea was close with Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and is still dealing with his death. However, it’ll be clear that she too is worried. But do they have good reason to be concerned? Is Chelsea having another breakdown?
