The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, May 20 suggests Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will find out about Ashland Locke’s (Robert Newman) cancer lie.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will agree on something. Plus Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will decide she needs a vacation. And Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will assist Esther Valentine (Kate Linder).
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will sit down with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to chat. But they’ll be interrupted by Ashley, who will say she found out what Phyllis has done. Of course, Phyllis will assume she knows what happened with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so she’ll tell Ashley it’s none of her business.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Chloe Helps Esther With A Dating App
“Why are you letting Diane stay at your hotel?” Ashley will blurt out. A relieved Phyllis will tell Ashley she’s asked Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to leave. However, Ashley will comment that she knows her brother has a tendency to forgive women he shouldn’t. “When it comes to Diane we’re on the same side Ashley, let’s just keep it at that.” After Ashley leaves, Phyllis will tell Amanda all about Diane. Then she’ll dish that she and Jack took things to the next level. Amanda will say she should be thanking Diane. “I think that her arrival moved things along with Jack,” she’ll quip.
At Crimson Lights, Chloe will tell her mother that she needs to live her own life. “Isn’t there something you want to do for yourself?” Then Esther will have flashbacks to some of the terrible dating decisions she made in the past. Chloe will suggest a dating app. But Esther will say she’s already on one. Chloe will look at her profile. “It doesn’t hurt to fluff things up a bit,” she’ll suggest. Then both women will be excited when they see Esther has already gotten a response.
Meanwhile, Summer will tell Jack she and Kyle may have found a way to stay in Genoa City. Jack will be intrigued. Kyle will say they both miss their families and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) misses his father. Jack will say there’s something he needs to tell them which will affect Harrison’s future. And he’ll tell them what Ashland admitted. “Ashland doesn’t have cancer?” Kyle will say incredulously. “When I think about us reassuring Harrison about his terminally ill father and he was never even sick? Who does that to their own son?” But suddenly Kyle will have a realization. “My mother. She did almost the same thing to me.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Skyle Know What Ashland Has Done
At Chancellor Park, Summer and Kyle will watch Harrison play with the ducks. They’ll begin to discuss Diane. But then Harrison will run towards them shouting “father!” Ashland will scoop Harrison up in his arms and Skyle will glare at him. Ashland will ask if he can have some time with Harrison. Kyle will smile at Harrison and suggest that he play with some kids nearby.
“We know what you did and it changes everything,” Kyle will tell Ashland. “We don’t want you anywhere near Harrison.” Victoria will arrive at the park and eavesdrop on their conversation. Ashland will admit he’s made mistakes but he just wants to spend time with his son. “We already said no, so don’t make this a scene,” Kyle will tell him. “You should go. Now.”
Finally, Victoria will return to the office and call her mother, saying she’s changed her mind. “I think we should take that trip together after all.” It looks like a great episode coming up!
