The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, January 6 suggests Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will give Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) her loyalty test.
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) will tell her husband his mother is to blame for their current troubles Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) therapy session doesn’t go well. And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will worry.
Y&R spoilers tease Billy and Lily will look depressed, as they sit together at Society. He’ll complain that their couples therapist has no sense of humor. But Lily will point out that he was right. “It’s like we have so little common ground that it was inevitable we’d end up like this,” Lily will say. As they’re leaving, Lily will shed some tears and he’ll tell her they’re going to be all right. “Billy, let’s just be honest. We don’t need to keep doing this,” she’ll say. “I mean we can’t keep doing this.” Then she’ll kiss him on the forehead and leave.

Meanwhile, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will ask Summer if she really wants to take Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) out of the country. She’ll say it would be a short trip. He realizes she doesn’t like how his mother’s chaos with Stark has taken over their lives. But everything he and his father are doing is necessary. “No, it seems like every day things are just spinning further and further out of control and we’re getting dug in deeper,” Summer will reply. “A new plot, a new plan. What’s next?”
Kyle will tell Summer her mother sure isn’t helping their tension any. He knows Phyllis is upset and so she’s also upset. “Don’t you dare make this about her,” Summer will say. “This is about Diane’s never ending chaos.” However, Kyle will say he doesn’t mean to be insensitive, but Phyllis was the one who invited chaos into town. “I’m really not sure how my mother became solely responsible for Diane’s criminal ex-boyfriend,” Summer will respond.
Other Y&R spoilers for Friday indicate a wash, rinse and repeat of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). He’ll bring her food and they’ll have sex. Plus, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will share an Ethiopian meal and plan to meet up every week for dinner.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Asks What’s Next
At the Glam Club, Diane will meet with Stark. She’ll say they need to come up with a plan. “Maybe we don’t have to leave the country at all.” Stark thinks the Glam Club would be the perfect place to launder money. Diane will tell him the club wouldn’t be a good fit, it’s owned by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) grandson. He’ll agree and she’ll tell him it feels good to be on the same side again. “Not so fast,” Stark will say. “You still haven’t faced my loyalty test.”
Finally, Jack will fret as he waits at Crimson Lights for Diane. Eventually, she’ll show up and tell Jack that Stark is falling for her trap. But they have to do one thing first. “We have to find a crime for me to commit.” Diane will tell him she plans to steal something. But it has to be from someone who she would never be in cahoots with. She’ll be tempted to steal from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) but Jack will say it would be a big mistake. They’ll also rule out Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). “That only leaves one remaining member of the coven,” Diane will say. “Nikki.”
