Young And The Restless Scoop Friday, February 10: Adam Tells Jack He’s Leaving Jabot – Daniel Fires Phyllis – Audra Mends Fences With Tucker

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, February 10 suggests Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will resign his co-CEO position at Jabot.

Also coming up, a furious Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) will fire his mother. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will make dinner plans with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will tell her father everything is in place.

Y&R spoilers tease Audra will arrange a run in with Tucker in the Grand Phoenix lobby. They’ll trade barbs and eventually she’ll ask if maybe they could be friends without benefits. He’ll say why not. Then he’ll ask her what friends do and she’ll say they chat and they go out for meals. So, Tucker will ask  her out to dinner. “A platonic dinner might just be what the doctor ordered,” Audra will reply. She’ll return to the office and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will ask if she mended fences with Tucker. She’ll tell him they’re having dinner tonight.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Stunned By Daniel’s Admission

At Newman ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will conspire with Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) about taking over McCall Industries. Victor will be confident that they’re going to have Tucker right where they want him. Then later, Victoria will drop by. “All of the financing is lined up and we are about to make our first move against Tucker,” she’ll tell Victor.

Meanwhile, Daniel will find out Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is back in town and he’ll head to her hotel room. “I want to know what in that crazy head of yours made you think it was okay to fly to Portugal without telling me?” She’ll say she was on a mission to help him. “Stay out of my business,” Daniel will tell her. “What you did was selfish and self involved.” Phyllis will say they should meet later to discuss Omega Sphere. “When I said stay out of my business I meant my actual business,” he’ll reply. A stunned Phyllis will ask if he’s firing her. “Consider this your official termination notice,” Daniel will say.

At Jabot, Jack will try to pry the truth out of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). “Adam claims you have been colluding with Victor but you have been insisting that isn’t the case.” Kyle will say he wouldn’t understand. “The truth is I’ve been working with Victor to get Adam out of Jabot,” he’ll admit. “You went behind my back and sabotaged my co-CEO!” Jack will shout.

Young And The Restless Scoop – Sold Him Out For Some Mills

Adam will continue to eavesdrop at the door, until Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) catches him. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she’ll ask. He’ll tell her there’s an intense conversation going on between Kyle and Jack and he thinks they should both be in there before things get worse.

So, he and Summer will walk in and Jack will say they’re in the middle of something. “The truth is, you should be thanking Victor and Kyle,” Adam will say. An angry Kyle will tell Adam he doesn’t need his help. “Maybe you should actually try listening to him,” Summer will say to her husband. “I really hope those textile mills were worth it to you.” Jack will ask his son if he sold him out to Victor for some textile mills. Then he’ll ask what Victor has planned next. Kyle will say he doesn’t think Victor has anything planned.

Finally, Adam will tell them all he wants to ease their stress. “I’ve thought a lot about this, which is why I have an announcement to make.” He’ll thank Jack for everything he’s done for him. “But my work didn’t measure up, so now the moment has arrived,” Adam will say. “You can fire me or I can resign. Either way, I’m leaving Jabot.”
