The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, February 24 suggests Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will issue a warning to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Also coming up, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi) will have major misgivings. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will shock Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). And Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) will lash out at Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Y&R spoilers tease Chance will encounter Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), who’ll tell the cop he was duped by Jack and Diane just as he was. “You must have been livid when you realized that one of Genoa City’s upstanding citizens, Jack Abbott, used you that way,” Stark will quip. Chance tell Stark he’s assuming he’s back to cause trouble. But Stark will say he’s just there to enjoy the warmth and generosity of the city.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Lily Says It’s None Of His Business
Meanwhile, Daniel will sit and mope as his ex-girlfriend and his daughter wait for their ride to the airport. After they depart, he’ll go to the Grand Phoenix bar and get a drink. Phyllis will walk in and tell him she’s sorry. “The only reason you empathize is because lately you’ve been screwing up as a parent,” Daniel will say and add that part of the reason he’s hurting is because of her. Stark will eavesdrop and tell Phyllis what he heard is sad. He’ll bring up Diane and ask her if she’d be interested if he could guarantee taking her down without Phyllis facing any repercussions. “Keep your schemes to yourself, I’m not interested,” she’ll reply.
At Nate and Elena’s penthouse, he’ll tell her he’s meeting up with Lily, about Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). He’ll say there’s a major battle brewing between them and he may have lit that fuse. So, maybe he can help diffuse the situation. “I’m sorry Nate,” Elena will say. “That sounds like a terrible idea.” But Nate will ask her to trust him and he’ll head out.
Lily and Nate will meet at Society. He’ll tell her he saw Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) leaving Devon’s place. Plus, he’s heard a lot of rumors. Lily will say it’s a business matter but Nate will tell her this isn’t about business, it’s about family. “Listen to me, you betrayed your own family, so you are no longer my family,” she’ll tell him. “So whatever is going on between Devon and me is none of your business, so stay out of it.” Devon will overhear it and approach the table and Lily will storm off.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Mystery Envelope Appears
At the Abbott estate, Diane will be spooked when a mystery envelope is left outside the door. She’ll grab it and will jump when Jack walks in. “Hey, what’s wrong?” he’ll ask. She’ll show him the envelope. She’ll say someone left it but she suspects it’s from Stark. Diane will ask Jack how they’re going to deal with him this time.
Then Chance will come to the door and tell them he just ran into Stark and warned him. Jack will thank him but Chance will tell him the warning goes both ways. “As much as I think Stark is trouble, I cannot deny his suspicions about this burglary case ring true,” he’ll say. “So I will be watching Stark and I will be watching you two.” They’ll show him the envelope and Chance will lose it when Diane opens it. There’s a mystery novel inside. A frustrated Chance will tell them not to open anything else that may arrive and not to plan any more schemes.
Finally, after Chance leaves, Jack will suggest to Diane that they get out of town for awhile. A secret trip, just the two of them. But will she agree to go?
