The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, April 5 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is still in the land of the living.
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will blame Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will comfort Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei). And Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will mourn for Phyllis.
Y&R spoilers tease Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will return to Crimson Lights. She’ll be surprised to see Billy sitting at a table alone. She’ll ask him what’s wrong. “I just got a phone call and Phyllis is dead,” he’ll reply. A stunned Chelsea will say she’s so sorry and she knows that at one point, Phyllis meant a lot to him. But he’ll tell her Phyllis being gone feels wrong.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Lily Wraps Her Arms Around Daniel
In a GCAC suite, Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) will try to calm his son, but to no avail. He’ll blame himself for Phyllis’ death. Daniel will head into the shower and Danny will call Lily and tell her his son’s in a bad place. So, Daniel will be surprised when he walks out of the bathroom and finds Lily there.
She’ll tell him she’s sorry and she’s there for him. Lily will also say she knows exactly how it feels to lose a parent. “In the beginning it is unbearable. But as time goes on, the pain lessens, the memories get softer,” she’ll tell him. “There is no rush. You grieve how you need to grieve.” Daniel will try to sleep and Lily will get in beside him and wrap her arms around him.
At the Abbott estate, Diane and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will still be in shock. Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor will come downstairs. Jack will say they’re going to look into Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and get to the bottom of it. And Diane will say she’s sorry Phyllis paid the price.
“You’re sorry?” Summer will reply. “You caused this. All of this.” Diane will say something about Stark and Summer will say it has nothing to do with him. She’ll remind Diane that they all heard her say she’d be doing the world a favor if she strangled Phyllis to death.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Summer Puts Diane On Blast
“I didn’t speak up before but I’m going to now,” Summer will continue. “My mom was right – I mean we all see it. You really are the monster she was warning us about. You came in and you took over her life.” She’ll ask Diane if it’s what she wanted all along, to see her mother dead. Then Kyle will take his sobbing wife upstairs.
A tearful Diane will ask Jack how he feels. “Do you think I’m responsible for Phyllis’ death?” She’ll say she saw the look in his eyes when he saw the two of them fighting. “I have a mountain of questions about what happened to Phyllis but you aren’t in any of them,” he’ll reply, and take her in his arms. Then he’ll say if this is a setup it’s the ultimate setup.
Finally, someone, more than likely Stark, will walk into a motel room. An interior door will open, with a very much alive Phyllis inside. “Took you long enough,” she’ll say.
