The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, August 27 reveals Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will let Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) have it.
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will have flashbacks of Cassie as she looks at Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) lying in a hospital bed. Plus, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will open up to each other. And Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will find out their daughter’s drinking caused the car crash.
Y&R spoilers tease Traci and Alan will head to the Jazz Club. She’ll ask if he’s enjoying Genoa City and he’ll say he’s considering getting a place there. But Tracy will say she’s concerned. She doesn’t want him to feel pressured or put on the spot because of what her family had asked him.
“I don’t want you to give up everything in your life that’s meaningful and regret it later,” she’ll tell Alan. But Alan will say she doesn’t understand, she’s changed his life for the better. They’ll share a dance and then head upstairs to his room.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Cameron Says It All Leads Back To Cassie
At the hospital, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will wake up, with her parents at her side. They’ll tell her she was in a car accident with Faith. But Faith will still be unconscious. “Why does this keep happening to us?” Sharon will ask Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Then Lucy will call out Faith’s name and she’ll begin to open her eyes.
Daniel will draw the curtain between the two girls and Lucy will say it’s all her fault. “Please Faith,” she’ll say. “Tell me you’re okay.” The doctor will arrive and ask to speak with Nick and Daniel. So, Lucy will admit to Heather she snuck out and got some vodka. Then she called Faith to help her.
Once Faith was driving her home, Lucy will say she started to feel sick and threw up. Faith reached into the back to get a towel, which was when she lost control of the car. Daniel and Nick will learn there was alcohol in Lucy’s system, but none in Faith’s.
Faith will tell Sharon she’s sorry, it must be so triggering for her. “You’ve been here with me before, and with Cassie.” But Sharon will tell her she’ll be fine. Then Nick will join them. Sharon will look down at Faith and see Cassie lying there.
So, she’ll say she needs to get some air and head out into the hallway. And Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) will walk up behind her. “Faith’s right, isn’t she?” he’ll say to Sharon. “It’s too similar.” He’ll bring up the car accident, the drinking and Daniel Romalotti. “It all leads back to Cassie, doesn’t it?”
Young And The Restless Scoop – Drunk Billy Shows Up At Adam’s
Meanwhile, Adam will look at Chelsea Newman’s (Melissa Claire Egan) text and head to the door. But Sally will come downstairs and ask where he’s going. So, he’ll lie and say he forgot his tablet at the office. Then he’ll open the door and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be standing there.
“Chelsea told me the truth,” he’ll say, walking inside. Adam will say he’s drunk and try to kick him out but Sally won’t allow it. “Look at you, you’re lying through your teeth,” Billy will say. Adam will reply that he doesn’t know what Chelsea told him. “Everything!“ Billy will shout. “And I can tell by Sally’s face, you told her nothing!”
Billy will say he’s not surprised because Adam is a coward. After Billy leaves, Sally will accuse Adam of lying to her face. But Adam will say Billy was drunk and didn’t know what he was talking about. “Stop it and tell me the truth or we’re finished!” Sally will yell. “I will walk out that door and never come back!”
Finally, Adam will finally admit that what Billy said was true. “I’m so sorry,” he’ll say. “Chelsea and I slept together. It was a mistake and we both knew it.” Sally will remind her boyfriend that earlier she had asked him, point blank, if he slept with Chelsea and he lied. “Billy’s right,” she’ll add. “You are a coward.”
