The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, December 22 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will be irked by Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell).
Also coming up, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will surprise Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman). Plus, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will grill Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Viewers should also note, the soap will be preempted on Monday, December 25. But new episodes will return on Tuesday, December 26.
Y&R spoilers tease Devon and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have dinner together at the GCAC, before going home to wrap presents. And Devon will have Tucker, and his big scandal, on his mind. “It’s everywhere,” he’ll say to Abby. However, he wants to reserve judgement until he talks to Tucker himself.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Devon Asks Tucker To Explain Himself
Speaking of the devil, Tucker will try to do damage control, when he gets a call from a reporter, asking for a quote. “You want a quote?” he’ll ask. “Here’s a quote. Bah freaking humbug.” Then he’ll head downstairs and say Merry Christmas to Devon and Abby. “It’s probably not that merry for you, given what just hit the internet,” Devon will reply. He’ll ask if he’d care to explain his side.
Tucker will say he didn’t find out about it until the singer was already in jail. He cut ties with him and fired everyone responsible for keeping him on the tour. But he’ll also admit he could have handled it better. “All you care about it how it makes you look,” Devon will reply. “But these are your issues, and it’s the holidays, so Abby and I don’t really have time for it.” Tucker will ask if he can come over with the gifts for Dom or if he should just leave them on the porch. Devon will tell him he can come in, so Dom can see him. But that’s it.
Meanwhile, Lauren will meet up with Christine to hand deliver a purchase. Christine will tell her it’s a special present for Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian). Lauren will ask Christine if she and Danny are still in the friend zone. However, Christine will say they’ve gotten reacquainted. “But beyond that, it’s too soon to tell.” Michael will show up and Christine will say she’s heading over to Daniel’s to give Danny his present.
Michael will give Lauren her first gift, a room key. “I’ll meet you up there in 10 minutes,” he’ll say. Lauren will arrive and Michael will hand her a glass of champagne. She’ll open another gift and it’s a gorgeous ring. “Lauren Fenmore, would you do me the honor of making me the happiest man in the world?” he’ll ask. “By marrying me all over again?” But Lauren will say not until he’s opened her gift. It too is a wedding ring. “What are the odds?” she’ll say. “Pretty good, if you think about it, we are of one mind, you and I,” Michael will reply.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Danny And Christine Will Kiss
At Daniel Romalotti’s (Michael Graziadei) apartment, he, Danny, Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) will decorate the tree. Then Phyllis and Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will arrive. As they discuss Christmas, Summer will say they should go around and talk about what they’re all grateful for. “Despite pretty much a whole year of chaos, I’m grateful that my mom is back,” she’ll say. And Daniel will agree.
They’ll sing Christmas carols and Christine will ring the doorbell. Phyllis will open the door and glare at her. Danny will walk over. “This is a surprise,” he’ll say. “Now you’re here, it’s the perfect Christmas Eve.” Christine will say she just came over to give him a gift.
Danny will invite her inside. So, Christine will sit beside him and hook her arm through his, as he tells a story about a past Christmas. Christine and Phyllis will trade barbs. But Summer will remind Phyllis they’re having dinner with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). “You coming Christine?” Phyllis will ask her, as she’s heading out. “Not just yet,” Christine will reply.
Finally, Danny and Christine will exchange gifts. She bought him a silk bathrobe like one he used to have. As for Christine’s gift, it’s a bracelet like one he bought for her on their honeymoon. She’ll get teary eyed as she looks at it and will tell Danny it’s perfect. And he’ll kiss her in front the Christmas tree.
