The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, April 27 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will give her daughter an impossible choice.
Also coming up, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will accuse her brother of being disloyal. Plus, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will outright lie to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpi). And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will surprise Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Y&R spoilers tease Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will tell Jack there’s being an autopsy done on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). “According to my source, it appears to be a homicide,” Michael will say. Jack will reply that at least Stark can’t testify against her. “True, but he also can’t exonerate her.” Then Jack will make another trip to the prison. He’ll tell Diane he’ll do everything in his power to see her walk out of jail as a free woman. “I am not staying away. Marry me, I’m serious. Let’s seal the deal, let’s do it now.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Tells Elena He Is Going Alone
At Newman, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will tell Victoria that going on a business trip with Nate is a terrible idea. But Victoria will say it’s none of his business. “How long do you think it’ll be before people notice you’re having a fling with your subordinate?” he’ll ask. He also can’t shake the feeling she’s about to blow up everything she’s worked so hard for. “I really hope you don’t end up regretting this trip.”
Meanwhile, Nate will tell Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) he’s leaving her in charge because he’s going away on business. But Audra will suggest she accompany him. Then he’ll tell her he’s not travelling alone, Victoria will be going with him. Audra will make a face, but she’ll suggest maybe Elena could join him in LA. However, Nate will put the kibosh on her suggestion.
He’ll head to Crimson Lights and tell Elena he’s heading to LA. She’ll ask if he’s going with someone and he’ll lie and say he’s going on his own. He’ll also tell her that when he returns, they should take a trip together somewhere. After Nate leaves, Audra will call her and Elena will say things are going much better with Nate. And Audra will suggest they meet up for coffee in the morning.
At Chancellor Park, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will embrace her mother, she’ll say she doesn’t understand what’s happening. Phyllis will assure her she’s real, she’s alive. But she doesn’t want her to tell Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei). But Summer will say her brother is going through hell right now. “You’re the only one who can know I’m alive, you’re the only one I can trust,” Phyllis will say.

Summer will tell her whatever it is, it doesn’t matter. “It’s not going to matter to anyone who loves you. The only thing that matters is you’re alive.” Phyllis will say she wishes she could come home, but it can’t happen. “I trusted the wrong man,” she’ll say. “He manipulated me, played on my deepest, darkest fears.”
But Summer will say Stark can’t hurt her anymore, he’s dead. “They found him already?” Phyllis will reply. “Jeremy Stark is why I can’t return to Genoa City because I’m the reason he’s dead.” Then she’ll lay it all out. She told Stark she wasn’t going to go along with his plan and he tried to kill her. He came after her with a pair of scissors, saying it would be a victimless crime. But she turned the tables and ended up killing him instead.
Finally, Phyllis will tell Summer she can’t tell anyone she’s alive. “You either save your mother-in-law or you save me,” she’ll say. “Because if I reveal myself, Diane will be exonerated and my life will be over. Or, you give me time to come up with a plan that works.” But she’ll say whatever Summer decides, she’ll be okay with it. But what is Summer going to do?
