The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals an episode dedicated to Lauralee Bell’s (Christine “Cricket” Blair) 40th anniversary on the sudser.
Also coming up, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) out to dinner. Plus, Christine will lean on Nina Webster (Tricia Cast). And Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) will provide a sounding board.
Y&R spoilers tease a forlorn Christine will walk around Chancellor Park. She’ll sit down and Phyllis will approach her. “Did you want something?” Christine will snark. Phyllis will reply that she’s just enjoying the beautiful day and her newfound freedom. But Christine will glare at her and Phyllis will offer her sympathies on the demise of her marriage to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

She’ll also point out that Danny’s in town and Christine will tell Phyllis she saw him last night. “Are you trying to rekindle something with Danny?” Phyllis will ask. “Is that why you called it quits with Paul?” However, Christine will remind Phyllis they’re not friends and there’s no way she’s going to talk to her about her personal life.
But Phyllis will ask if she’s going to chase after Danny. “I heard that you’ve been hanging out with Danny and maybe you should take your own advice and not fool yourself that something will come of it,” Christine will reply tersely. “Right now, your number one priority should be getting your miserable life back on track.” After Christine storms off, Phyllis will flash back to confronting Christine about taking Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) away from her.
Lauren will arrive and ask Phyllis if she’s all right. “I just saw Christine,” she’ll reply. “She will never see me as anything other than the thorn in her side.” But Lauren will point out that Phyllis sees Christine the same way. Then Phyllis will flash back to one of the many confrontations she had with the bug. And she’ll tell Lauren she tried to make peace with her, but Christine’s not having it.
Meanwhile, Christine will end up at Crimson Lights and be pleasantly surprised to see Nina there. They’ll discuss the end of her marriage. “We’re different people than we were when we first met,” Christine will tell her friend. The two women will flash back to when they were young. They’ll also discuss Danny, and Christine will flash back to moments from their romance.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Christine And Danny Reconnect
Nina will ask if she could get back what they had all those years ago, would she want to. But Christine will say she and Danny missed their chance. Lauren will arrive and Christine will talk about how focused she was on her career. And now she wonders if she made a mistake. Then she’ll flash back to a scene where she told Paul she wanted to wait a couple of years before having a child. “You always assume you’re going to be a mom one day and then here you are and it didn’t happen,” she’ll say. “Paul and I had that one chance to have a child.” Then she’ll flash back to her miscarriage.
Christine will tell Lauren that Nina has suggested she rekindle things with Danny and Lauren will ask if she’s thinking about it. “I do not need the aggravation of Phyllis right now,” Christine will reply. After Lauren leaves, Nina will comment that Christine is really at a crossroads. “I guess I am,” she’ll say. But Nina will tell her not to beat herself up. “You had two great loves, that’s more than most people get.”
At the Jazz Club, Danny will play piano and he’ll have Christine on his mind. Daniel will walk in and Danny will tell him he he found out things were over between Christine and Paul. “Knowing that Christine is now free,” Danny will admit. “It stirred up all these feelings about what could have been and maybe what still could be.” Then Phyllis and Lauren will walk in and the Phyllis will make goo goo eyes at Danny.
Finally, Phyllis will ask Danny if he’d like to have dinner with her tonight. But Christine will walk in and they’ll glare at each other. Danny will tell Phyllis they’ll figure something out. And then Danny will walk Christine over to the piano. He’ll play a song and she’ll lean in and put her hand on his shoulder. But could Danny and Cricket be headed for a reunion?
