The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 11 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will not like Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) idea.
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will see Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) cruel side. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be impressed by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). And Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will encourage Nick to join her at Kirsten.
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will tell Adam he’s there as his father, and wants to know how he’s doing. “It’s all been so frustrating, you’re my son, I love you,” Victor will say. “Where do we go from here?” Adam will tell his father his life needs a complete reset.

“You could treat me as someone new in the family, and in business, by letting me start from the bottom and work my way up.” But Victor will ask if he’s serious. “Let me put in the hard work, let me rise or fall on my own merits,” he’ll reply. “I have nothing left to lose. I’m humbling myself before you right now.” Victor will tell him he’s very impressed, if his intentions are sincere, and he’ll think about it.
Meanwhile, Sharon will pitch Nick on working together. “All I’m asking is that you listen to your instincts and follow them, wherever they may take you.” But Nick will admit if he went back to Newman, he could keep an eye on Nate. “Vic clearly has a blind eye when it comes to Nate.”
Sally will tell Sharon that Nick feels a loyalty to his family. However, Sharon will point out they haven’t always shown Nick loyalty. “If you want to do something good, do it here, with me,” she’ll say. After Sharon heads out, Sally will tell Nick she’s aware of his history with Sharon but it doesn’t bother her. She wants him to do what’s right for him.
Then she’ll mention Adam, saying between this latest blow and losing Ava, he must be devastated. “Maybe he will finally learn some humility,” Nick will say flippantly. “Wow, that’s cold,” an offended Sally will reply. Nick will attempt to backtrack and point out Adam has created a lot of bad karma. “You’re not implying Adam deserved that loss, are you?” she’ll ask. She’ll say she’s caused people pain, so is her suffering also inevitable? But Nick will say of course not and he’ll apologize.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nick Gives Victor Bad News
At Newman, Nate will ask Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) if they’re still good. And she’ll answer him with a kiss. Afterwards, she’ll say she was furious with Victor. But they talked it out and are in a good place. However, Nate’s worried about her brother. “Will Nick try to get me fired?” he’ll ask, just as Nikki walks in.
Shortly afterwards, Victor will show up. He’ll say he’s worried Nick might not come back to Newman. But Nikki will say she has an idea that would make him feel comfortable returning. “If there is an obstacle…it’s Nate, clearly they don’t work well together,” she’ll say. “So, if it is important to you that Nicholas return I suggest Nate step down from his position.” But Victor will point out they don’t even know yet what Nick has decided. Then Victor, and an angry Victoria, will leave.
“I’m curious,” Nikki will ask Nate. “What would you have done if Victor had agreed with me about you stepping down?” Nate will say he would have stepped down if Victor and Victoria had asked. Nikki will purse her lips and say he’s always so smooth. “You obviously don’t trust anything I have to say, so what do I have to do to convince you that I am sincere?” Nate will ask. So, Nikki will tell him he could step down of his own volition. But Nate will say there’s no reason for him to step aside until they know what Nick will do. “I thought that would be your answer,” she’ll reply.
Finally, Nick will arrive and tell his family he has news. “I’ve decided to help Sharon rebuild Kirsten,” he’ll say. “I’m not coming back to Newman.”
