Young And The Restless Scoop August 24: Nick Warns Victor Nate Would Backstab Them All To Get Ahead – SNA Will Be Folded Into Newman Media

The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, August 24 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make it clear to his father how he feels about Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will roll his eyes when he hears Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) plan. Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that Adam’s got something on Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will grill Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Y&R spoilers tease Victoria will congratulate Ashley on her marriage. However, she’ll say she’s surprised she would turn her back on Jabot. Ashley will say she and Jack mutually decided to part ways. But she’ll wonder why Victoria is asking her so many questions. Victoria will say she’s a little worried about Billy. “I don’t think he deserves to be put in the middle of some corporate or family war.” However, Ashley will tell her not to worry about him.

Y&R Daily Scoop – Tucker Says Billy’s Not Trustworthy

At the Jazz Club bar, Billy will sidle up beside Tucker. He’ll ask him if he has any more details about Ashley’s plan. Tucker will say a scheme is no longer necessary, now that Ashley got what she wanted from Jack. But Billy will say the threat of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is still there.  Tucker will say he and Ashley have decided a war with Jack is not worth it. However, Billy thinks Tucker’s trying to ice him out. “Here’s the thing Billy, I just don’t think you’re trustworthy,” he’ll reply.

Later, Tucker will run into Adam. He’ll rub it in that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) defeated him. But Adam will point out he could still release the emails. Then Billy will show up. “What’s going on?” he’ll ask. Tucker will leave and Adam will say he may have information Tucker wouldn’t want revealed. “Hypothetically speaking, I might be willing to sell it someone if they’d be willing to do me a favor.”

Billy will head to the Abbott estate and tell Jack he thinks Tucker is giving up the fight but he’s still not sure about Ashley. Billy will say he also walked in on a tense moment between Adam and Tucker. And when he spoke to Adam, he revealed he has information on Tucker he might be willing to trade.

Meanwhile, Nate will arrive at the ranch and he’ll criticize Nick, Adam and Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) business plan. “Adam’s focus seems to have been on one thing, Newman Media,” he’ll tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). “It’s created conflict and instability.” Victor will ask what he thinks of Nicholas. “He prefers to play things safe, take no risks,” he’ll reply. But Victor will ask Nate if what he would do if he was in charge. and he’ll say he thinks the new company should be folded into Newman Media.

Then Nick will arrive and Nate will depart. He’ll ask Victor why Nate was there and he’ll say he was giving him his perspective on the SNA business plan. “Are you thinking about replacing Adam with Nate?” Nick will ask. “Because if that’s the case, I will not work alongside that guy.” He’ll ask why Victor would need to go to Nate and thinks something else is at play.

But Victor will say Nate’s assessment was right on. Plus, he’ll tell his son his views on Nate are clouding his judgement. “At the end of the day, he will stab any one of us in the back to get ahead, including Victoria,” Nick will reply. Then Sharon and Adam will arrive and Victor will say he’s made some decisions about the new company. “I’m going to fold SNA into Newman Media.” Adam will smirk and ask what changed his mind.

Finally, Nate will return to the office and he’ll tell Victoria he thinks Victor might want to put him in charge of SNA Media. But she’ll say he probably just wants to replace Adam with him. “If Victor were to offer me the sole position, would you try to block the move?” he’ll ask. However, Victoria will say if she didn’t know any better, she would think he was trying to play her for a promotion. But is Victoria still suspicious of Nate?
