The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, March 7 suggests Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will lay down the law with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Also coming up, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will eavesdrop. Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will argue with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and get some advice from Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Grazaidei) will discuss her feud with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will be holding some flowers as he purchases pastries from Sharon at Crimson Lights. She’ll assume they’re for Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and she’ll caution Billy that Chelsea is still in a fragile state. “I do worry about her dependency on you,” she’ll say. Billy will ask if Sharon thinks his friendship with Chelsea is hurting her. Sharon will caution him it could be artificially lifting her spirits and he should be aware of it.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Nate Says They Want The Same Thing
Upstairs, Adam will check on Chelsea. He’ll notice place settings for two and will ask if their son is coming home. When she says he isn’t, Adam will realize the meal is for her and Billy. She’ll admit her relationship with Billy may have moved beyond friendship. “Billy Abbott is a self-serving, walking train wreck who cannot possibly have your best interests at heart,” Adam will say. “You deserve so much better.” Then Billy will come to the door, flowers in hand. He and Adam will quarrel and Chelsea will tell them to calm down.
Adam will leave and head downstairs, where he’ll vent his frustrations to Sharon. He’ll say he’s concerned about Billy and Chelsea and ask Sharon to speak to her. Sharon will say Adam should not be running around ranting about Billy. She’ll say he should focus on things he has control over, like his job at Jabot. And when Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) walks in, she’ll learn Adam no longer works there.
At Society, Lily will tell Daniel her brother blames her for everything. But Daniel will disagree. He’ll say he wishes there was some way to bring the two of them together. Lily will say it’s too late for that and will leave. Then Nate, who was eavesdropping on the conversation, will approach Daniel. “Do you have a minute?” he’ll ask. “It sounds like you and I want the same thing.”

Meanwhile, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be in a tither about her run-in with Summer and she’ll go running to Nick, as usual. “I’m just kicking myself,” Sally will whine to Nick. “Thinking that Summer could offer some understanding or support.” Then there’ll be more of their dull, repetitive dialogue, before Nick heads out to confront his daughter.
Finally, Nick will arrive the Abbott estate. “We need to talk,” he’ll tell Summer when she answers the door. “Sally knows she’s never going to get your support and understanding, but I expect it.” Nick will say she and Sally have a messy history but things have worked out for her. “This isn’t about me holding a grudge, you’re confusing me for mom,” Summer will reply. “I’m concerned for you. Dad she’s using you.”
However, Nick will deny it. “That is a hurtful and baseless accusation,” he’ll say. And when Nick admits Sally didn’t tell him about the pregnancy right away, Summer will accuse her of reeling him in, to protect her from Adam. But Nick will tell his daughter she’s wrong. “What we have is real,” he’ll say. “I need you to open up your heart and mind to the idea of me and Sally being together.” But will Summer be willing to do it?
