The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, October 13 reveals Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will blame Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for his failed romance.
Also coming up, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) gives Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) some advice. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will suspect one of his kids is going to betray him. And Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will smash a photo of her and her father.
Y&R spoilers tease Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will ask why Victor would call Adam by Nicholas’ name. “It was a joke,” he’ll reply. “I step back into my company and that seems to piss everyone off.” He’ll say the problem is that the kids think they can outmaneuver him.
“Victoria walks around as if nothing has happened,” he’ll continue. “I know she’s seething that I stepped back in.” Not to mention, Adam walks around smiling after he picks up Nate’s dry cleaning. “Who’s he trying to fool?” And he’ll add that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) in the middle of it all.

Victor will add that he doesn’t know who he can trust. Of course, Nikki will chime in that he can trust Victoria and Nicholas. She’ll ask if she’s on his watchlist too and he’ll say of course not. “But what about our daughter?” Nikki will ask. And Victor will reply that he hopes Victoria won’t be the one to plunge a knife in his back. “I have reason to believe that someone is out to stab me in the back,” he’ll say. “They’re all interested in getting ahold of this empire, not as long as I live.”
Meanwhile, Adam will spot Nick at Society’s bar. He’ll approach him and say he’s worried about Victor. “He called me Nicholas at the office, he had no idea he even said it,” he’ll add. “Our father could be in trouble.” But Nick will tell him he doesn’t want to have a brotherly conversation with him. “You’ve managed to screw up every aspect of my life and I’m done,” he’ll tell Adam, who will ask what his problem is. “You,” he’ll reply. “And the fact that I’m not punching you in the face right now shows how much restraint I’m able to use.
“This is high vitriol, even for you,” Adam will say. “What I did must be pretty bad.” Nick will tell him to steer clear of him and he’ll storm out. But Adam will follow him to Chancellor Park and he’ll apologize for kissing Sally and promise to keep his distance from her. However, Nick will tell him he’s a disgrace to the Newman family. And Victoria will be standing there, watching.
She’ll tell him she suspects Nick isn’t buying his turnaround story other. But Adam will say what’s going on between he and Nick is a personal issue. “You’re right, I jump to conclusions, especially when you’re around,” she’ll reply. “I’m sorry.” Adam will be taken aback that she apologized. And Victoria will say Victor and Nate have told her to give him a chance. “Speaking of our father, have you noticed anything odd about him?” Adam will ask. “This is probably nothing but he called me Nicholas.”
Young And The Restless Scoop – An Angry Victoria Acts Out
At Crimson Lights, Chloe will see a downtrodden Sally walk in. She’ll ask her what’s wrong and she’ll say she’s fine. “You don’t look fine, frankly you look terrible.” And Sally will tell her Adam kissed her. Chloe will ask about Nick and Sally will say she blew it and confessed. “Nick loves you, he’s an amazing man and I’m sure he’ll come along,” Chloe will reply.
But Sally will tell her Nick doesn’t trust her anymore and she doesn’t trust herself, she does still have feelings for Adam. But Chloe will tell her she needs to go to Nick and tell him she’s ready to let go of the past. Then Adam will walk in. He’ll ask Sally what’s going on with Nick, and mention that his brother wanted to punch him earlier. However, Sally will tell him to leave her alone and she’ll walk out. Then Chloe will tell Adam he’s the worst and he ruins everyone’s lives. “Well maybe you should try shooting me again, with better aim this time,” Adam will reply.
Finally, Victoria will meet with Nick. “I have more confirmation that something is off with dad,” she’ll tell him at the GCAC. “Dad called Adam by your name and then he claimed that he didn’t.” But Nick will ask why she can’t let it go and he’ll tell her Victor coming back is not a symptom of him losing his mind. “Dad is in a crisis and you refuse to see it,” she’ll reply. Then she’ll return to the office, pick up a framed photo of she and Victor and she’ll angrily smash it on the floor.
