The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, June 9 reveals Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will arrest Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will come up with a scheme. Plus, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be shocked when Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) tells her she’s engaged to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will defend Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Y&R spoilers tease Ashley and Tucker will get a text from Abby and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), inviting them to dinner. Once they’re all together, Ashley will say they’re happy they invited them, because they have great news. “We’re getting married,” she’ll tell them. But Abby will say it feels fake. Ashley will assure her it’s not. She also wants to place Tucker in an executive position at Jabot and is floating the idea of removing Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) as CEO.

“I knew you were behind this, you are using my mom all over again!” Abby will accuse Tucker. But he’ll say he’s tried to talk Ashley out of her vendetta against Diane. He wanted her to leave Jabot and start up a venture with him and Abby will apologize. After they leave, Abby will tell Devon those two baffle her. She’s not sure who’s using who.
Meanwhile, Chance will tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) that’s he’s come close to incriminating his wife twice. But Kyle will say the truth has to come out and he’ll throw his wife directly under a bus. “Summer has known where Phyllis was for weeks, I can only assume she helped her escape.”
At the Abbott estate, Jack will ask Diane what position she’d like and she’ll remind him Jabot’s chief talent officer is retiring. He’ll say that after everything she’s been through, he wants her to dream big. “Yes, I can make this happen.” When Kyle arrives, he’ll tell them his wife has been betraying them for weeks. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has been hiding out at the Athletic Club and Summer knew. Jack will tell Kyle he did the right thing by alerting the police. But Diane will point out that she didn’t have a choice. “Think about it, what if the situation were reversed?” she’ll ask Kyle.
At Chancellor Park, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) will be shocked when Summer tells him she encouraged, and helped, their mother run. Then Chance will show up. “I’m done playing games,” he’ll say to them. “Where’s Phyllis?” They’ll both say they don’t know where she is.

Summer will ask Daniel to give them some privacy. Then Chance will say he was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt but he knows she’s been lying. “I don’t regret any of my actions,” Summer will tell him. “She’s in an impossible position, how can the law help her now?” Once Summer is alone again, Daniel will return and she’ll suggest they pay someone to say they witnessed what happened between their mom and Jeremy Stark (James Hyde).
At Crimson Lights, Chance will storm in and spot Nick. “Cameron Kirsten would like to press charges against you for battery.” But Nick will tell him Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) is lying. “I did not hit him.” Chance will remind Nick he gave him the benefit of the doubt when Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) was killed. Then Cameron will show up and ask if Chance is just going to chat with Nick. “Look at my face, look at his knuckles,” he’ll say. Chance will tell Nick he has no choice and he’ll read him his rights. And Cameron will smirk, as Chance leads Nick away in handcuffs.
