The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop reveals Richard Burgi has been cast as Ashland Locke. He’ll make his Genoa City debut on March 11.
Ashland has been described by those who know him as the Locke Ness Monster. He’s a New York City business tycoon known for being as ruthless as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). As viewers know, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) had an affair with his wife Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Kyle found out on Monday that her three year old son Harrison is in fact his. He’d threatened to get a DNA test but Tara said she’d already had one done. She then told Kyle her husband was as cold blooded as ever. “He still crushes anyone who crosses him.”

Tara also told him Ashland thinks Harrison is his own son and he adores him. Then she warned him to back off. “Let this be our last conversation,” Tara said. “You know it’s the right thing to do.” But of course, Kyle won’t be able to get Harrison out of his mind.

This isn’t Burgi’s first soap stint by any means. He made his soap debut back in 1968 on One Life To Live. Burgi also played Chad Rollo on Another World from 1986 to 1988, Glenn Harrington on As The World Turns in 1989 and Phillip Collier on Days Of Our Lives from 1992 to 1993.
Most recently, the actor played Paul Hornsby on General Hospital from 2014 to 2016. Paul was a Port Charles serial killer who was also Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) lover.
Young And The Restless News – Kyle Abbott Had Better Be Watching His Back
On Y&R, Ashland will be in town to oversee the battle for his media company. Both Newman Enterprises and Chancellor Communications are interested in buying it and rumor has it he’ll be there to enjoy watching the competition go down.
But Kyle had better watch his back. There could be another reason for Ashland’s visit. Does he suspect something went on between his wife and Kyle and if so, what’s he going to do about it?
