The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, December 20 reveals Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be in for a surprise on his first day back at Chancellor Winters.
Also coming up, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will talk about the concert. Plus, the Abbotts will get into the Christmas spirit. And Devon Winters (Bryton James) will shut down Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).
Y&R spoilers tease Tucker will tell Devon he’s got a Santa Claus size bag of toys for Dominic. “Just drop them off,” he’ll reply tersely. As usual, Tucker will take it a step further. “Is there any chance we could spend Christmas Eve together?” he’ll ask. But Devon will say it’s not going to happen. “You’ll be on the outside looking in, that’s all because of your own actions.”
Y&R Daily Scoop – Summer Taught Him Dance Moves
At the Abbott estate, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will decorate the tree. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will arrive with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), who will pull out some mistletoe and Kyle will lift him above Jack and Diane’s heads. “Kiss Dee Dee,” Harrison will say and Jack will happily comply.
Then Kyle will get a text from Tucker. “Any progress?” it’ll ask. So, Jack will walk Kyle outside and they’ll talk about how they’re about to take Tucker down. Jack will tell his son it wouldn’t be happening if it wasn’t for him. “I am incredibly proud,” he’ll say.
At Society, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will smile as she spots Summer and Chance sitting together laughing. They’ll talk about the great time they had at the concert, and about how she taught him some dance moves. “VIP all access passes? Meeting the band backstage?” Summer will gush. “Chance, I am spoiled for life.” Phyllis will walk over and Chance will thank Summer for going with him, as he leaves.
“So I see you decided to go for it, good girl,” Phyllis will say. But Summer will explain Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) had a business meeting, so Chance had an extra ticket. But she’ll also admit she wishes she didn’t feel this way about him. “Chance is with Sharon and if he didn’t wanna be, he wouldn’t be.”
Then Phyllis will tell Summer about Tucker’s job offer, but she’ll say there’s no way she’s going to take it. However, Summer won’t believe her. “You totally want to take this job,” she’ll reply. “Mom, if you take this job with Tucker, I’m not going to trust you again.” Then Tucker will walk in and Summer will tell him to stay away from her mother.
Young And The Restless Scoop – She Has Jill Running Scared
Meanwhile, Nate will return to Chancellor Winters, with Aunt Mamie (Veronica Redd) at his side. As he steps inside the CEO office, he’ll say he never thought he’d be part of the company again. Mamie will tell him what happened in the past doesn’t matter, he’s there now. Nate will say he hopes she has no more secrets. And she’ll tell him she’s only got one agenda, to get Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) out. “And I’m here to make sure that you don’t succeed,” Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will say as he walks in.
Then he’ll tell them he’s back, filling in for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), as co-CEO with Devon. “Co-CEO?” a stunned Nate will ask. Billy will say it’s not like he hasn’t spent time in the CEO suite before. “And then you walked out on Lily, and the company, when she needed you,” Nate will reply. However, Billy will remind him he tried to hijack the company out from under Devon and Lily. “So why don’t you say we keep our eyes focused on what’s ahead?”
Mamie will tell Billy his mother must be very proud of herself and he’ll say she is. Billy will add that he’s surprised Lily and Devon took Nate back, after what he pulled there and at Newman Enterprises. “Your opinion is irrelevant,” an annoyed Nate will say. “Well maybe not exactly irrelevant, I am kind of your boss,” Billy will reply.
Finally, after Billy leaves for a meeting, Mamie will tell Nate it’s obvious she’s got Jill running scared. “What’s between Jill and me isn’t settled yet.” However, Nate will tell Mamie it’s a bad idea to make a power play against Jill, especially now that Billy’s co-CEO. But will she take her nephew’s advice?
