The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, September 30 reveals Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) will worry about Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
Also coming up, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will cover her tracks. Plus, Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) not done with Sharon. And Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will strategize with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will walk into the Abbott-Chancellor office and tell Billy she just had dinner with her kids. “It’s been a tough year but I’m happy to say that things seem to be looking up for all three of us.” Billy will ask if she’s been drinking and she’ll say she had a couple of glasses of bubbly. Billy will offer to drive her to the club and once they get there, they’ll have a drink.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Phyllis Suggests Victor Will Humiliate Him
Phyllis will ask Billy what he’ll do if Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wins. She’ll also suggest that if he does win, Victor will publicly humiliate him. “That’s not gonna happen,” Billy will reply. Phyllis will ask about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and he’ll say she doesn’t want this war. He’s also hoping she’ll clue him in to what Victor’s planning next.
Meanwhile, Lucy and Daniel will walk into their apartment and call out for Heather. “She isn’t even here,” Lucy will say. Daniel will say it’s weird. She had a job interview but he assumed she’d be home by now. So, he’ll call Heather and leave a voicemail. Lucy will pipe in, asking her mom to bring home bananas and peanut butter.
At Sharon’s cottage, she’ll walk down the stairs and flash back to picking up Heather’s head, which was covered in blood. She’ll tell Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) was exhausted.
Nick will say Faith’s been stressed out, worried about her. Sharon will apologize for her behavior. She’ll say she was in a pretty bad place and all she could see was that they were trying to fix her. But she’s now in a much better place. “We’re just glad you came back,” Nick will say.
Mariah will ask where she went and what she did. “I owe you an explanation and I don’t think I can keep it inside any longer,” Sharon will tell them. “You deserve the truth.” So, she’ll say she made a confession to Cassie, at her gravesite, about all the things she’s done since she lost her. “For the first time in a long while I feel like I’m finally getting off this roller coaster ride.”
Sharon will lie and say she’s already made two appointments with her doctor. “I’m home and I’m ready to take my life back.” Then Heather’s phone will ring in Sharon’s purse. “Is that your phone?” Mariah will ask. Sharon will say it was a just a reminder notification to take her meds.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Kill Two Birds With The Stone
She’ll tell Mariah and Nick they’re off the hook and don’t need to worry anymore. Mariah will head out, as will Nick shortly afterward. Sharon will pull out Heather’s phone and see a voicemail from Daniel. And Cameron will suddenly appear. “That was a close one,” he’ll say. When she listens to the message, Sharon will feel guilty, especially when she hears Lucy’s voice.
Cameron will praise her for using facial recognition on Heather’s dead body and then changing the access code to the phone. She also downloaded an app to block the phone’s location and tracking. But Sharon will wonder if Daniel’s going to keep calling. “I’ll send them a text, making them believe Heather’s still alive.”
Back at Daniel’s place, he’ll get the text. “Your mom’s not coming home,” he’ll tell Lucy. He’ll add that Heather said the situation with Sharon upset her, so she’s left town for a few days. So, he’ll text her back. “Where are you? Please call. Let’s talk.”
An upset Lucy will blame herself. She’ll tell her dad if she hadn’t acted out, maybe her mom wouldn’t have left. But Daniel will tell her if she wants to blame someone, to blame Sharon. Daniel will head to the parking garage. When he comes upstairs, he’ll tell Lucy Heather’s car is still there. So, he’ll wonder if she took a flight somewhere. And Lucy will say her mom took her overnight bag and some clothes.
Finally, Sharon will see Daniel’s response to the text and worry that he’ll keep calling. But Cameron will tell her to ignore him. Sharon will say she needs to make peace with what happened. She’ll suggest Daniel may leave town if he thinks Heather’s left him. Then she’ll be home free.
“There’ll be no peace while Daniel Romalotti is still alive,” Cameron will reply. “Sharon, you’ve already thrown the proverbial stone, why don’t you kill two birds with it?”
