The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Thursday, July 11 reveals Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) she’s in.
Also coming up, Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercury) will warm up to Claire Grace (Hayley Erin). Plus, Devon Winters (Bryton James) will tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) he’s not sure which company Lily will choose. And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will realize that something is off with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
Y&R spoilers tease Devon will tell Nate he hasn’t talked to Lily since the vote. Then she’ll walk in and say she’s sorry she hasn’t been in touch. She’s been waiting for things to settle down. So, Devon will ask if things have settled down enough for her to tell Billy she won’t be joining him at Chancellor.
Lily will ask to speak to Devon alone. “I haven’t told Billy that I’m not joining him yet,” she’ll admit. But he’ll say now would be a good time to pick a side. “I need time to process,” Lily will reply. Devon will say it’s starting to feel like she’s going to stay at Chancellor.
Y&R Daily Scoop – An Ecstatic Chelsea Gives Adam A Big Hug
So, Lily will ask if the two of would them be equal partners if she joins him. He’ll say of course. “I really wanna believe that,” Lily will reply. Devon will say he can’t believe she’s really considering staying at Chancellor and he’ll ask if that’s what she wants. “If I say yes, what will that mean for us?” she’ll respond. But Devon will say he doesn’t know.
Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Katie and Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) will grab a seat at Crimson Lights. Billy will walk in and say hello to his kids. “I love you both,” he’ll tell them, before he joins Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) at a table.
“You’re trembling, are you okay?” Billy will ask her. He’ll assume seeing Johnny threw her and she’ll say it did, her emotions are all over the place. So, he’ll ask if she’s hungry and suggest they go to Society. Chelsea will tell him that’d be great.
What she won’t realize, however, is that Adam and Sally are already there. As Sally talks about her job, Adam will flash back to having sex with Chelsea. “Adam, is something wrong?” Sally will ask. “Where did you go just now?” Adam say he was thinking about the trip to Baltimore. “Sally, there’s something I need to tell…” Adam will start. but then Billy and Chelsea will walk in.
Sally will ask the couple to join them. As the four of them are chatting, Billy and Sally will admit they caught up with each other a few times while they were away. “No need to be jealous,” Sally will say to Adam. “You’ve been able to put your history aside and be there for your son,” Billy will add. And Sally will say she hopes they found ways to distract themselves.
Then Chelsea will be horrified when Adam admits they got blind drunk last night. Her phone will ring. It’s the facility, calling with good news. Chelsea will hang up and tell Adam Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) had a breakthrough. She’ll say the doctors think he’s turning a corner. “That’s our boy,” Adam will reply and Chelsea will embrace him.

Sally and Billy will give each other a look. Both Adam and Chelsea will get a text from Connor, wanting to video chat. So, they’ll head to Adam’s place. “This whole ordeal has really bonded them, hasn’t it?” Sally will say to Billy.
Then Lily will show up and Sally will head out. Billy will say he realizes she’s torn but he’ll ask if she’s in or not. “I’m in, I’m ready to move forward,” Lily will tell him. “It’ll be Lily Winters and Billy Abbott, a force to be reckoned with.”
At Adam’s place, Chelsea will say she’s never been more uncomfortable in her whole life. “I’m not sure if I can do this, the lying, the guilt is eating at me.” But Adam will say they need to put it behind them. They’ll talk to Connor, who’ll say he’s fighting the OCD. “For the first time, it feels like I might actually get better.”
Finally, Claire will take Harrison Locke (Redding Munsell) to Chancellor Park. Victoria and the kids will arrive and Katie will make a face at Claire. Victoria will tell Katie and Johnny that Claire and Harrison are great pals. Johnny will take Harrison over to look at worms and Claire will ask Katie if she wants to join them.
“Worms? I’ll pass,” she’ll reply. As the trio walk away, Victoria will tell Katie she’d like to spend as much time with her as she can. “What about Claire, your first daughter?” she’ll reply. Then Johnny, Harrison and Claire will return and Harrison will give Katie flowers. He’ll invite her to come with them for ice cream and Katie will smile at Claire, take her arm and head out with them.
