The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Tuesday, August 20 reveals Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will decide to give Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) the pink slip.
Also coming up, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be shocked by Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) tactics. Plus, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will tell Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) she’s willing to do Victor’s bidding. And Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will make an admission to Summer Newman (Allison Lanier).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will tell Nate he’s right, she’s somehow ended up in another intense family feud. However, she’s not about to give up Glissade. But Nate will say her only two options are to leave or go along with whatever Victor wants. Audra will reply that if Victor wants to stick it to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), what better way than to see his son fail.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Summer Wants To Know What He’s Hiding
At the Jazz Club, Summer will demand to know why Kyle has doubled down on working with Audra. “I can guarantee you Audra will never give Harrison a second thought,” he’ll reply. “She is irrelevant, to you and to Harrison.”
But Summer will say she doesn’t think he trusts Audra any more than she does. “You don’t really want to be working with Audra, do you?” Summer will ask. “Tell me what’s really going on here.” Kyle will admit he’s not thrilled to be working with Audra and doesn’t trust her. But it won’t be a permanent situation. And he’ll tell Summer he’ll handle it.
“Are we good now?” he’ll ask. “I don’t want to take this to court Summer, and I believe that deep down, neither do you.” But Summer will tell Kyle she’d like to think about it. She’ll ask why he can’t just tell her what he’s keeping from her. And Kyle will look like he might do just that, until Audra walks in. After Summer leaves, Audra and Kyle will call a truce.
Meanwhile, a highly agitated Billy will return to Abbott-Chancellor and start yelling at Lily. “You need to tell me, right now, what your real agenda is!” But Lily will tell him they don’t have time for his conspiracy theories. “You thought you were in control, didn’t you?!” Billy will shout. “Until my mother gave me voting power, and that scared the hell out of you.”
Then he’ll accuse Lily of waiting for the right opportunity to kick him to the curb. “Is that what you’ve been planning all along?” They’ll continue to yell at each other, until Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) walks in. “What’s going on with you two now?” he’ll ask.
After Lily storms off, Billy and Chance will head to Society. Billy will say Lily decided she wanted him out. So, Chance will ask if they should go ahead with the launch party. But Billy will say no, it’s time for Lily to go. “I need to end this, immediately.” Then he’ll text Lily, asking to meet ASAP. Lily will call him and Billy will lie, saying he’s got the new press release written and ask her to meet him at the Athletic Club.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Nikki’s Not Happy With His Tactics
At Newman Enterprises, Victor will tell Nikki that Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) going through a serious health issue. “Which is why she decided to hand over the reigns to her idiot son.” Nikki will say she hopes Victor isn’t planning on taking advantage of Jill’s illness to oust Billy. Victor will say of course he’s going to.
“I don’t care how you spin it, it just seems wrong,” Nikki will reply. “Why?” Victor will ask. “What do you think this SOB is doing right now? All he’s concerned about is reviving his failed career.” So, Victor will say he’s going to have Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) threaten to publish an article about Jill.
“You keep forgetting that Billy is your grandchildren’s father,” Nikki will say. And she’ll ask what they’re going to do about Lily. Victor will say he wants Nikki to handle her. “Arrange a run-in with her and then, you know what to say.” Then he’ll tell Nikki to keep her eye on the prize.
Finally, Nikki and Victor will end up at the GCAC. Nikki will ask Victor if Billy is the only target and if there are other people he’s going to use Newman Media to go after. But then Lily will walk in and say hello. Victor will ask how things are going and she’ll make a face. A few seconds later, Billy will also arrive.
Victor will get up and approach Billy. He’ll ask to speak with him privately. And Lily will sit with Nikki. “So Lily, tell me, how are things really?” Nikki will ask her.
