The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 28 reveals Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will follow Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) to her hotel room.
Also coming up, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will warn Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Plus, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will confront Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about his announcement. And Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be suspicious of Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
Y&R spoilers tease Victor will tell Victoria they have some unfinished business. “You said if I didn’t like your decision, I could let you go.” But Victoria will say she wasn’t serious. Then she’ll come up with an excuse for forcing her brother out. She’ll also remind Victor how emotional Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was after he killed Ashland Locke (Robert Newman).

However, Victor will want to talk about Nate. “It was my decision to have Nate step in,” she’ll say, adding they work well together. “Don’t try to pull the wool over my eyes, you don’t just work with Nate, you have a personal relationship with him,” Victor will say. “How the hell can that not influence your judgement in business?” But Victoria will say she trusts Nate completely, just as Nate walks in. Then Victor will say he wants to talk to him alone and he’ll ask Nate to shut the door.
Nate will lie and say he’s just helping out temporarily and there’s no power grab going on. He’ll continue that he regrets what he did at Chancellor Winters and won’t make that kind of mistake ever again. “If you do, you know I’ll find out and then I’ll be your enemy,” Victor will reply. “I don’t wish that on anyone.” But Nate will promise his intentions are pure.
Meanwhile, Billy will storm into the Abbott estate, with a bee in his bonnet about Jack announcing Diane’s new position. “Did you approve this?” he’ll ask Jack. “Did you consult with anyone before giving her this promotion?” A clueless Jack will proudly say he approved it himself. “You just detonated a bomb that is going to cause a family war,” Billy will tell him. “This is the exact thing Traci warned us about.”
He’ll say Jack handed his fiancé a position she’s not qualified for, without going through the proper protocols. However, Jack will say he stands by his decision. “You know, this is exactly what Ashley said was going to happen and I thought she was overreacting,” Billy will respond. “I said there’s no way Jack’s going to do something so brash with Diane.” But Jack will ask him if he’ll stand by him nonetheless and Billy will grudgingly admit that he will.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Ashley Tries To Play It Cool
At the GCAC, Ashley will get an alert on her phone, announcing Diane’s appointment as Jabot’s Chief Talent Officer. Then Diane will walk in through the entrance and Ashley will congratulate her on her new position. “You must be thrilled, everything’s come together for you,” Ashley will say. But Diane will be suspicious. And when Jack shows up, he and Diane will grab a table.
Downstairs at the Jazz Club, Kyle will flirt and trade stories with Audra as they drink. Kyle will tell her he’s partied with the best of them. “Try raiding the liquor cabinet of the richest guy in New York City and having an affair with his wife,” Kyle will brag. Audra will top his story by saying she’s had sex in a helicopter.
Then they’ll share a dance and Kyle will suggest they call it a night. Audra will tell him she’s glad she doesn’t have to wait for a taxi. “Living upstairs has it’s perks.” Kyle will walk Audra to the entrance upstairs and she’ll start climbing the staircase. He’ll watch her and then follow. Over at Jack and Diane’s table, Jack will tell Diane he saw their son walk upstairs. “I think he got himself a hotel room.”
Finally, Kyle and Audra will rip at each other’s clothes, when they stumble into her hotel suite. Then he’ll push her against the door, as they make out. But is Kyle going to regret this later?
